Randy Mac arrested in Augusta, GA......

He'll be fined if he is indeed guilty, but a swipe with a piece of cardboard won't merit a suspension. That doesn't mean it should or shouldn't, but it won't.

but if he's already in the NFL program, this might be a violation which means an automatic suspension. I don't know if he's in the program or not though.

I think a few girly slaps is a bit different than a bloody nose.

I know people who get bloody noses extremely easily. I need facts before I jump to conclusions. I once worked with a guy who got a bloody nose anytime his nose was bumped.

not making excuses, I just need facts

Q: I have to ask... a 1984 DeVille? The Waffle House? Is he missing a zero or two in his reported contract?

Man vs. Woman is a no-no. Take the beating as a man . Only if your life is clearly at risk , hands to yourself.

Yeah, great logic.

I am a man, I am stronger than you, therefore you have every right to beat on me.

Yeah, I think he may face a fine or a game or two suspension.

Hey Nub, on sportsline it said that prosecuters decided not to file charges. Does that mean that according to NFL rules, it really didn't happen? In other words, do charges have to be filed before the league will review the case?

Okay, you all know of the first case right. You guys all say about how he is a wifebeater and all this when it is CLEAR and proven that she hit him several times. She also blocked him from walking through the doorway. That sounds like not only defense but that if verbal contact did not work, physical had to. Most will say you never hit a woman no matter what. I agree and picking her up and moving her might have been smarter but we werent in that situation. In this case a piece of carboard hit her. He never threw a swing or smacked her like she has done to him, he was throwing her belongings out and hit her. Whether you believe the situation is not the point because thats what has been said by both parties and your opinion doesnt matter. Know the facts. I, in addition, think that its so funny that people are so quick to disclaim McMichael as a Dolphin. I know this offense has potential to be of a much higher caliber than Ricky quitting, i think its so funny that we welcome ricky back after a year of bashing him SO HARD and now its McMike's turn. In a year im sure after he produces people will be so happy and want a new long term contract for him etc. I will hold my statement that i dont want Ricky on the team but i dont have a choice. If it is PROVEN that McMike has actually BEATEN his wife, then we can say he is a beater. i know many are saying his money makes her say its an accident. Just remember not to jump on one side of the line SO QUICK (like the PressCoverage incident) until we know EVERYTHING about the story and know whats true. as of right now we only know that something went wrong in an arguement between them that made him throw her things. we also know that he hit her in the nose causing it to bleed yet we do not yet know id its accidental or not. Don't be so quick to decide he is such a horrible man until all the facts are straight. sorry for the long bantering post..i just think people need to think before they assume the man did everything wrong and he is the worst person ever.

b) he was throwing his wife's belongings out of his 1984 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

c) His wife needed to be treated at the scene for her injuries

I'd be saying the same thing but this isn't the 1st time he's got involved in beating his wife.

It says that the 2004 case was dropped and no chargers were filed. It looks like they may file charges this time against him. I don't know what the exact penalty something like this would recieve, but if it did go that far, this would be his first incident on book. The 2004 one doesn't count.

Oh now where are all the conservative people who said Boston was TOO much trouble ?? Will they pile on McMike now???

Before all the conservatives go off...lets be real...most athletes are self indulged morons who think they can get away with anything...thing is about 60% of the league is that way?? So either let it be or get used to wasting your breathe!

What does being conservative have to do with this issue? I don't agree that 60% of professional athletes commit crimes and think they can get away with it. In fact, most are law abiding citizens. It's probably the 10% or so bad apples that give a bad name to their teamamtes.
I'm a conservative and I never posted any negative remarks about Boston. In fact, I've been on record as saying that he appears to have matured and is now more focused on his career.
Do me a favor and keep politics out of this. I thought liberals were supposedly open minded, yet you have just labeled the majority of professional athletes as criminals. Go figure:shakeno:
