Randy vs Ricky

You say it like Ricky stayed up late in his evil lab contemplating a way to hurt the other 52 people on the team. He was fed up with it! He got hurt badly every sunday and had nothing to show for it. The team was going nowhere and he put his body on the line, it just wasn't worth it to him. He didn't do it to hurt his teammates, just to be happier with his life.

No, he told them I'm going to be a leader at the same time as he was thinking of quitting. Then he quit and said I don't care what happens to them. That's what he did. The reasons he gave are too numerous to list. I'm not sure why you decided that one was the real one. I don't really care which one was real. If I walk out on my family, then it's not much comfort to them that I was having a mid-life crisis or whatever. I'm judged by my actions. If I did that then they would be within their rights to never trust me again and to never let me come back. And if I was that much of a piece of **** then they'd be better off without me.

RW's betrayal is deeper b/c he lied to their faces. That's a personal offense that is much harder to forgive.
What were they, married!? They get paid to play for the same football team, it's not like he had a deep and close relationship with the other 52 guys on the team.

I thought we established football and family is completely separate.

They are, but trust is trust. The analogy above was about a breaking of trust. That's one of the worst things you can do to any relationship. Teammates learn to trust each other. If RW gives half assed efforts like that block that he blew on Freeney then his teammates aren't going to trust that he will do it the next time. They'll be looking over their shoulders worried that they'll be creamed b/c the quitter didn't have their back. The result is that they won't do their job as well and the team suffers.

Just want to see everyone's respond to this one,It's seems so far that alot of us (Dolfans) are with more open arms to the Wifebitter (OJ McMichael) then we are to Ricky the head case.
Yeah we all need a second chance but hey this is Randy's second time giving his girlfriend a freaking BLOODY NOSE!
The best part is that it's his contract year what is he thinking?Oh yeah nothing!!

Disappointed in Randy I very much am. Hate Rasta Ricky forever I will.

Any chance we sign Randy's wife? I'm thinking strong safety. Her & Randy in the middle drill. Woah!

I think it is time we start getting rid of the bad apples. McMichael has virtually no trade value right now courtesy of his latest episode, let him play out the year and do not resign him in the offseason. Ricky needs to be traded at the first sniff of interest in him. These 2 guys are now making Miami a laughing stock around the NFL.
I respect Randys' passion on the field but his bitching about not getting the ball enough last year and then when he did get more balls thrown his way subsequently dropped them left a sour taste in my mouth. I was hoping that he would get it together this year, but if he is doing stuff like this in a contract year then that shows his I.Q. is not exactly up there.
Ricky needs to do well this year to attract some interest in him as trade bait. In the back of my mind I will never trust him. Ronnie is the future.
We don't need guys like this to win. I want players that act the right way ie:Zach, Jason, Chris, Ronnie than thugs who you have to constantly wonder if they are going to be on the practice field or in the court room ie:Sean Taylor, Jamal Lewis, Ray Lewis.
I personally would sacrifice a win every year to win the proper way with good guys than to win with thugs, convicts, or retirees. IMHO
