Ray Farmer Article from Cleveland

Wonder if there is any proposed date/timing to have both hires completed?

Farmer is just another guy that is well thought of. At this point we need a guy like Gamble or McLoughlin DeCastro to put the finishing touches on this team. A guy with a proven track record. Anyone else and we are rolling the dice

If we don't hire Gamble, it will be because he didn't want to leave Philly or he wasn't offered enough power

I want someone who doesn't draft offensive linemen with lousy rep totals in the bench press. Heck, why not draft the offensive lineman with above-average rep total in the bench press?
I can't away from this as just the perfect example of how bad Ireland was.
We had this buffoon for 6 years.

As long as he does what Aponte says he will be fine.. If Farmer or whomever the next GM doesn't read from Aponte's index cards and fall in line she will make sure he's fired. Also, he better draft who Philbin wants and not disagree with him or none of he's players will see the field. Until Aponte and Philbin or gone we are screwed.

There is no certainty in any appointment. The reality is that unfortunately, we are not just putting the finishing touches on the team. At 8 - 8 we are statistically average and well short of the top Offenses and Defenses. Sometimes you just have to roll the dice. I like Farmer as a prospective GM.
