Ray Rice Suspended 2 Games

According to the $44million/year Czar Artful Dodger Roger, it's it's preferable to cold-**** a woman into unconsciousness just so long as you don't rape her before or after (BigBen 6 game suspension reduced down to 4). Maybe Ben should have married his victim too, ya think?

And as to that argument that no criminal charges were filed against Rice, well neither were any filed against Rapisburger. Just another way this league plays favoritism if not outright being fixed to pander to the national advertisers.

Why is everyone up in arms over Ray Rice getting only a 2 game suspension?

The man had some problems that unfortunately were recorded from a CCTV.

But everyone blabs and says Goodell is too strict on the players, then when a player gets only 2 games , everyone is still HATING.

Good for Goodell and hopefully he continues his lenience because Gordon is a great talent if only he can get his act straight- hopefully he is allowed "one more strike".

Vaark offtopic but nice signature. It's funny the Jets have M. Vick now, he may be the answer. lol

The reason Rice only got 2 games is that prior to this he was a model NFL player.
This is his 1st run in with the law. And the fact that his wife to be didn't press charges and eventually married him and they are working it out.

What I saw today made me think. I think Roger Goodell is to blame, but now it makes me wonder if the nfl and Goodell are the bi product of ridiculous side of fandom. An ugly cycle. NFL caring about character and integrity only so much, if it affects or can affect the bottom line ($) then it character gets shoved aside. A decent number of fans supporting, rooting and not giving a damn that a player on their team is a criminal, scumbag, assaults, rape and just care about the player because he's on their team. Obviously there are plenty of good fans, but unfortunatley people can be crazy, (stabbings in stadiums, punching girl in face, etc, over a stupid game and alcohol) and take things way too serious.

What I'm getting at is this. Look at this article. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/07/29/ravens-fans-cheer-ray-rice-at-open-practice/
Ravens fans cheering ray rice open practice. I don't know how many, but the one's who did so are obviously classy. I'm not going to say it's ravens fans though as I'm sure plenty did not cheer and unfortunately it seems you have fans like this for just about every sports team whether football, baseball, basketball and so on for pro sports.

So was Big Ben.. but he got 6 games out of the box...... and he probably just had to pay off his victim without having to marry her. And I don't believe she ever was unconscious throughout her ordeal. Next rationalization pls

You can beat your wife and knock her the **** out but pick on a 300+ lb "modern gladiator" and they'll toss you from the league. Weak ****, Roger Gotohell.

As reprehensible as I think it is to hit a woman , why is Rice all of a sudden the poster boy for getting suspended for domestic abuse. How many players have actually been suspended for the same thing. Not many that I can remember. Brandon Marshall was supspended after being arrested three times in a year but that was various offenses.
I mean as dolphin fans we have had plenty of players that received no penalty for similar offenses.

Damian McIntosh
Randy McMichael
Phillip Merling

Former Dolphin and current dolphin who incidents had nothing to do with us
Randy Starks received nothing for his domestic violence
Brandon Marshall has received little for his repeated issues.

Should the NFL do more on domestic violence , most definitely but lets not act like the NFl has not been lenient on almost all players that have had these issues.
The NFL needs to do more on DUI"s also , most of these go completely ignored.
The NFL should do more to punish PED users and there should definitely be HGH testing although the players union is partly to blame for that.
Lets just quit acting like Rice is the only person that has ever hit a woman and not received enough punishment when most players have received nothing.

Well aware he wasn't exactly expelled or suspended by the league, but they made such a big deal about it that Incog will be hard pressed to ever find a job with any NFL organization.

Though with the NFL's lax views on domestic violence it always makes me laugh when all the pink comes out for Feb. What a crock.

The NFL is lax on alot. I mean what ever happened with the Ronnie Brown DUI when he was way over the limit or other various things. You could say the courts are just as lax on domestiv violence since they have basically given him probation upon completing a program like they did with Randy Starks. As for Incognito if he wanted an NFL job he would not have continued to do stupid stuff after all this came out. The incident with the car and the incident with the woman last year are not what teams want to deal with. Incognito has had issues with coaches all the way back into college. He is a pure idiot and I dont blame any team for not wanting to waste the time for a very average player. Im glad he is not a dolphin anymore and if I had a team I would not waste my time signing him either. In MArch there was talk Oakland had interest.
