My favorite pick of draft. Love this kid!
I noticed the upright style too. Not optimum, but usually it is most noticable after he is in the open field.
Noticed the upright running as well reminded me a little of James Stewart who also went to Tennessee

Does it make him a bigger target, or does it let him see where he is going? - LOL
We also showed pre-draft interest in Isaac Guerendo, and he was available when we took Wright. I wonder how they decided internally which one was the better choice for Miami. IG is just as fast and is also 10 lbs heavier.

So we gave up next year’s 96th pick in the draft for Jalen Wright?!!! 
I know the criticism of him based on the system he ran in but I think he flashes plenty enough to be a solid #3 next year (we have Mostert, Achane, Wilson); and to become an excellent weapon to add to the arsenal. He will adapt and has what is needed. Good receiver. Pass block. Explosive player. He gets a hole and look out. The dude is phenomenal in the open field imo.
That is what McDaniel would be looking for. I am very happy with what he can do with another offensive weapon.

Something he never did in college, so how you arrived at that, I've no idea. If any draft pick does it will be Malik or Tahj.
I doubt he fits in the wide zone and would have no better chance to make the team and contribute this season than UDFA Matthew Jones will.
Sealth drafted Laumea and they are more of a man/power type of running offense. That is where he fits. He played RT at Utah and still needs work in pass protection.
I surely did not expect an RB to be taken when I saw we'd traded into the 4th and were waiting for the announcement of who was taken. But as soon as I saw it was Jaylen Wright, I was stunned because I had just assumed he had been taken in the 3rd and I'd missed it. To get a younger version of Raheem Mostert at a bargain price is very astute draft work by Grier and McDaniel.
Wright was not used as a receiver a great deal but he has good hands and is solid as a receiver. His pass protection is probably his second greatest attribute after carrying the ball, of course.
I gotta admit though I have not been a fan of any sports since the day I was born. I seem to recall in those early months my hobbies and interests centered more on a teat to clamp onto and crapping my diaper a few times a day. After I was potty trained and on whole food, I was more into toys and coloring books for a few years. I started getting interested in sports from 7 to 10 or so. Anyone who has been a fan since the day of their birth is a lot more advanced than I was.

My preferred energy drink is those Monster ones made with coffee. I hate hot coffee but those Monster coffees sure do the trick and don't give me any jitters like Red Bulls and the other fizzy energy drinks like Bang, regular Monsters, etc.
I was really pissed when the Jets took Jaylen Key, the safety as Mr Irrelevant. He'd have been sure to sign with the Dolphins if he'd not been drafted.
