Your field goal kicker will love your new OC...

so will your punter

all that practice in game action will make your kicking tandem quite good ;-)

Tony's philosophy is keep it close and win it in the end. As much as I heard Jets fans complain about Schotty, it will be interesting to see their reactions on how Tony plays it close to the vest.

Tony is NOT the HC w/ us and as a HC sometimes guys get more conservative. He's not going to be that way here, rex is an aggressive HC and that will trickle down to the OC.

Again, Rex left Schotty alone and I expect the same with Sparano. You're correct in your statement that Schotty was not the problem but it wasn't just the Oline that was. Sanchez is nothing more then a game manager that Schotty couldn't execute a solid passing game around. Rex is aggressive but on the defensive side of the ball. Claiming he was aggressive over the offense is incorrect.

Its a joke trying to blame the teams losing on missed 4th downs and bad calls. Terrible Oline, QB and Safety play and the broken locker room led to the Jets downfall.

He left him alone to run the offense, he didn't allow him to make decisions about how aggressive they would be. Rex was involved w/ gameplans but not game day play calling. You think he is just giving Tony the guys and isn't involved? he's not settling for FGs and I expect Tony as an OC to be more aggressive, it's a completely different position he is in now.

who blames the Jets losing on missed 4thg downs and bad calls? The OL is reason #1 we lost and the D was mediocre most of the year. Those were the 2 biggest reasons we lost.

I don't disagree with that, but I do know reason #3. His name rhymes with Mark Sanchez.

It's okay Jets fans, you can hate sparano. You don't have to agree with everything your team does. Sparano is a great guy, nice person ETC but a moron when it comes to coaching. Nothing he did here worked and he def killed what could have been a slightly above average QB in Hene. How do you think Sanchez will fair being that he's obviously less talented?

Clearly he is less talented which is why Sanchez was a top 5 pick and henne was a 2nd rd pick.

NYJUNC.....your Jets will never win a SB with either Sanchez or Tebow running things. The Jet's defense got the team to the playoffs, but the defense is falling off, and nobody is worried about Sanchez or Tebow on offense. The Jets had their two year window to win a Championship and have since then gotten much worse.

Sparano can go ruin the Jets for all I care. He was the main reason players tended to fail in Miami. Sparano doesn't seem to trust his QB's, other than Pennington. He will forcibly run the ball almost exclusively in NY, that is his signature. I'd be mighty surprised if Jet fans take a liking to Sparano after seeing what they said about Shotty.

Sanchez has 4 playoff wins
Tebow has 1

each has more than Miami in the last decade.

It's so cute that the two cellar dwellers in the AFC East are so concerned w/ the Jets.

It's so cute having a brand new fist pump specialist, and two of the best pure passers of the league as QB´s!!!!! Imagine how could that improve your fantastic 8-8 record!!!!!

The key word here is HAS.....the Jets had their chance to win the Superbowl but they fell short. They HAD the defense to possibly come close to getting it done, but not the offense. Ryan doesn't realize that you have to be a well balanced team. The Ravens are about the only team since 2000 that won a SB with a below average offense and QB.

The Ravens didn't win w/ a below average QB and we don't have a below average QB. We have a guy who was a top 10 caliber QB 2 years ago and dropped off a bit this past season but a guy who helped us get to 2 title games so we know we can win big w/ him.

The Tebow wildcat thing will probably work the first few games. Not going to lie. Then the gimmic will be over. I tell you what though. Everyone can smash the wildcat and Miami as much as they want, but when we brought it out on NE was probably my happiest day since Marino and our winning ways were around. First time I had ever seen NE totally lost on what to do for a whole game and were just pounded into the ground.
