Real question: Currently available HC and DC candidates that can help us

Hell no and he knows it. He'd want full control but the game has left his style behind.
And what style is that? Running the football and playing great defense? Sign me up then.. His style is not left behind. I hate when people say that. If another young Parcells came along and controlled the clock and played tough D you’d hear the opposite. That way can still win SBs, owning the clock in this league is still everything

With that being said, I think He’s too old to coach again but his style of coaching can TOTALLY win in this league

That's why I said, Grier needs to step in. We need that anyway.
Huh? You just called Grier stupid in an earlier post you responded to me. And now you want him to step in. Do you just say **** to say ****? Please stop talking in circles

I agree.
He led Philly to a super bowl.
He has Miami Dolphin ties.
He played for coach Shula.
He has coaches/network that will follow him to Miami.
Give him the money.
Miami ties??? He was here for a cup of coffee

I thought you said Flo. Okay, yes, Grier is dumb. Bottom line, we need a top notch DC who has control over defense.

Kellen Moore is my preference, it's proven he can call plays. If he could somehow get a veteran DC on board to handle the defense he would be ideal.

He was the starting QB for the win that broke George Halas win record for Don Shula. He was our 3rd string QB after Marino and Scott Mitchell injuries.
Sure..he has Miami ties.

Too old? He is only 64, not 80

No kidding, it was one game, I wouldn’t call it Miami ties, it was like 27 years ago.

It was a meaningful win.
Pederson did a great job with Philly. Regardless of your comment, he played for Miami.
As a coach we would be lucky to land him vs the current trash Flores.

He played a few games if that many, I fail to see what ties he has here. It’s freaking meaningless

Dolphins front 4 gets moved off the PUA almost every play. That's the #1 problem. No pressure without blitzing.
Cant win games if you're Always losing the Point Of Attack.

Yeah, i get that but he got burned out and said so even at his young age. Wish a younger coaching prospect had his style and formula to coaching
Like Dick Vermiel was 'burned out'...until he wasn't.

Also, we're mad at Ross for hiring bad people...but he's probably not doing it on purpose.
If he actually hired a capable football 'Czar' or a good coach with personnel decision power, then 'The culture' can change overnight and Miami is a great place to be.

However, Flo is a much bigger problem than even Grier. That's become very evident in recent weeks.
