anyone who's been following the team enough knows we will be nowhere near 4 wins this year. Everything collapsed last year, we began losing starter after starter from b4 traing camp until the end of the season. WE have a healthy roster now so-far and went from a poor staff to one of the best. Our Front 7 has much more depth/talent.
Our entire offense can say the same. The only way this team could be as bad as last year is if Ricky and Ronnie Bail on us, WE lose our 2 of our top 4 wideouts, both our DT's, junior seau, our fullback, Half the O-line, and Zack / our best CB for a few months.

im thinking just like you. we have a pretty good team. even though we were horrible last year we only got killed one game, every other game we were in it until the end. that was even with all the injuries and other problems we had. we have more talent this year then we had 2-3 years ago and we competed well then. if saban and staff is as good as they say we be competing for the playoffs. look at the turnaround bates did and that was with what 2 weeks to work with, so why cant saban do the same with a whole offseason to work with.

Saban really helped himself by bringing in proven assistants. the offense is in the hands of linehan who did a good job in minny, many of our offensive players are use to changing coordinators. the defensive side is where we kinda got to worry about coaching changes. the d players who have been here really only been with one coach there who career. this is where we will see how good saban is.

the way i see the coaching this is saban controls defense and linehan controls offense. although saban does have final say on everything.

I believe the thread title said "realistic expectations." 8-8 is as good as it's gonna get for the fins

Is it too much to ask that you try using your opinion from time to time and not state this as a fact?? Seems like your statement is the same as your hopes...coincidence? I don't think so.

And what will be the "FACTS" of the bills season, playoffs with a rookie QB??

Yeah, didn't Don Shula take the Colts to the championship game his first year, Mike Martz had a decent first year, so did George Siefert....at any rate...hope springs eternal here in Fins land but I think we could easily go 8-8 and really be a better team than the 10-6, 11-5 years under Wanny...

lol, only a homer would predict over 8 wins for the fins...8 wins is a GENEROUS prediction...especially since you're the worst team in the division.
Also, I've said it many times so far: I think the Bills will go 9-7 and miss the playoffs(cause of Losman's inexperience)...but it will be an entertaining 9-7 because Losman will be fun to watch unlike the frustrating Dreadslow.
