Really sad and deeply disappointing (yet another blown season)

In the very least Grier has to go and McDaniel, should he keep him which seems likely, needs to hopefully share the lessons he’s learned and agree to some philosophical changes as well as hopefully give up play calling duties.

I dunno. The worst thing you can have as a fan of this team are expectations of success. Those are the ones that hurt the most when the team inevitably disappoints you again as they always do.
yup, we’ve seen the movie before and it always ends the same way. Disappointment

Yet if we had a backup qb we would be on pace to have 11 wins. We also lost two games on the last play of the game. It’s not that serious I promise
Are you making an argument that we are actually close to being a really good team? What do you mean by this??

What team are you guys watching that makes you think a rebuild of this team isn't necessary? This is cope.

A rebuild is absolutely necessary, but the good news is that teams can be rebuilt very quickly. The bad contracts handed out by Grier mean that it won't happen in one off-season, but that's not the end of the world. I think at this point, Dolphins fans can suffer one more lost season if it means getting someone with a pulse at the top of the organization and overhauling this failure.

Yes we are a good team. We are not a top tier team but that doesn’t mean we can’t upset a top tier team in a playoff game. Most years the best team doesn’t win win the Super Bowl.

This team does need a rebuild and a change of philosophy. We're going to need a reboot of the secondary and front seven. The safeties and linebackers are either horrible or journeymen and don't play the run or pass well and we'll need replacements on the DL. Not sure how long Fuller and Ramsey can stay at corner either

The o-line needs two new guards and another swing tackle and we need some big receivers.

I don't see any reason to keep Grier or McD because they created this soft culture and a team that doesn't beat good teams, play well in the cold or show any toughness. They have brought in too many players who haven't worked out. McD's influence over the draft and offseason is as bad, imo, as Flores' influence was.
McD has not grown as a coach at all, can't call plays, make adjustments or manage a game or his timeouts and even though he hasn't lost this team yet this organization is completely lost and he has a big hand in that.

Despite the big contracts that we're stuck with I just don't see the point in keeping the two guys below Ross for another wasted season.

We have one of the worst secondaries, linebacking cores and offensive lines in the league. An inept GM, a coach over his head, a QB that's often injured and unreliable late in the season or against good defenses, the WRs are now in question with Hill's age and social meida BS, Waddle isnt a #1, he drops 10% of the passes thrown to him.

We have decent RBs.... that's about it.

Ohh and we don't have much cap space or draft picks.

No offense, but you need to come back down to earth.

agree with all of this but think we'll have about 9 draft picks this year as opposed to the 4-5 picks in the past few drafts. Gimme 9 tough players and a few UFDAs to replace the dead wood and marshmallows on this roster.

Go get a GM who knows talent and maybe the rebuild gets off to a decent start.

I kind of disagree with all your points with all due respect. Ramsey has been the best cb in the league & Armstead has been the best LT in the league this year. Both units are at least average as a whole. Brooks has been a huge upgrade and we’ve been without our starting edge rushers the entire year. Plus Chop looks legit.

Tua was playing at an mvp level the past few weeks and then he had a bad game. Teams are triple covering our wrs and begging us to run which is why you think our WRs suck and rbs are good.

I’m definitely open to hiring a new gm and letting him decide the fate of the coach. I just don’t think things are as bleak as many on here think. Regardless, we’re kind of stuck with this core for another year or two. This is easily an 11-12 win team if we caught a few breaks

Your going to be very disappointed next year i have a feeling.

Armstead is done, were gonna lose Campbell who's been our best defender really, Ramsey is playing great but after corners turn 30, they have an extremely short shelf life, historically speaking and the rest of the secondary is a liability.

I guess it depends on what your definition of good is; by mine, it's winning playoff games and right now, next year looks like there isn't a snowballs chance in hell of winning playoff games.

I hope your right and im wrong, for the record.

We’re not even a 500 team

A good team? Where do you see that?

Look
Tua plays like an MVP against bad teams
He didn’t just have a bad game, it was par for the course, he faced a good team and he melted
Even then, against bad teams, I would not call his play mvp level
