1. Gets rid of Morlon Greenwood- I just dont get this. Saban says I want young fast defensive players so he doesnt resign Morlon who is young and fast not to mention became a team leader last year

2. Doesnt re-sign Knight or Freeman, now this would be ok if in there places he brought in youg Players w/ an upside but Tebucky Jones cant hold a finger to Knight or Freeman. Travers Tillman (or w/e his name is) shouldnt even be a starter

3. Drafts Matt Roth who could help in the future but we need to adress our immediate needs like a S or G.

4. He talks about getting younger but all he has done is get older players to replace are younger better players

1. Greenwood isnt an impact player nor was he worth anywhere near the money he got!

2. Knight is overrated and getting old and Freeman is nothing but average!

3. Matt Roth was a steal that will probably start for us this year!

4. BS!

Can you let him run his first practice before you start bashing him?

Roth will be a Player for many years to come. Freeman would cost to much he never showed me anything. Same thing with Greenwood we got Spragan instead.

1. Ever heard of a salary cap?? Do you realize how much Greenwood got from Houson?

2. Neither fit in to long-term plans and made too much money.

3. BPA is the right way to draft....drafting for NEED leads to mistakes.

4. He WILL get younger, but he does need to field competant players this year, and hes brought in nice value with the veterans he's attained.

o' put a sock in it (your mouth)
the fins was 4-12 with those guys as starter

it's time to get younger in the draft and cheaper

1. Greenwood was an average LB who wanted superstar $$$. Saban was smart not to wrap up a lot of money in this guy.

2. Two players who underacheved and were over paid.

3. Three words: Best. Player. Avalible.

4. What younger better players did he replace? He cut underachevers and dead weight, while putting in guys who fit his system.

5. STOP WHINING!

I agree Shifty, and will add that Greenwood was outa here...there was no talk with the Fins at all. He wanted out. He'll do that same thing for Houston as he did for us...be just serviceable and they paid him a lot more than he is worth.

You are so blind..

Damn you're whining really loudly. Try to think of the big picture and the salary cap and football in general. THen all of your points become moot.

Saint Nick

;) Saban is the best thing to happen to this team in a long, long time. Be patient he's rebuilding but putting a decent team together this year to be compeditive. Think of the future. Dolfan forever.

Greenwood's agent told us "we couldn't afford him" and proceded to get waaaaaaaaay overpaid.

Knight slow, old, and expensive. He didn't fit into Saban's, should he be handcuffed with Wanny players just because they can still play a scheme we no longer use?

Freeman never really was all that talented. Hence the fact that he could never really hold off ANY competition he got.

Matt Roth is a replacement for a few of the older players on our line. He was a 1st round graded DE we got in the middle of the 2nd... VERY good value.

You lambast Saban for signing older players, then lambast him again when he tries to get younger (see Roth and Crowder) at positions in which we are oldest. Make up your mind!

Saban has signed older players that fit his system. He then began collecting their replacements in the draft. I don't see exactly what you would have him do.
