Reasons Why I cant stand Saban

1. Gets rid of Morlon Greenwood- I just dont get this. Saban says I want young fast defensive players so he doesnt resign Morlon who is young and fast not to mention became a team leader last year

2. Doesnt re-sign Knight or Freeman, now this would be ok if in there places he brought in youg Players w/ an upside but Tebucky Jones cant hold a finger to Knight or Freeman. Travers Tillman (or w/e his name is) shouldnt even be a starter

3. Drafts Matt Roth who could help in the future but we need to adress our immediate needs like a S or G.

4. He talks about getting younger but all he has done is get older players to replace are younger better players

I will not bash you for any of these thoughts. The main thing that your post points out though is that you don't understand what this draft is all about.

We didn't take need positions. We took the Best Players Available. Being a Dolphins fan, I know none of us are use to this but this is what we've done. And it's going to be good for this football team in the near future.

Knight slow, old, and expensive. He didn't fit into Saban's, should he be handcuffed with Wanny players just because they can still play a scheme we no longer use?



Saban has signed older players that fit his system. He then began collecting their replacements in the draft. I don't see exactly what you would have him do.

those two statements are what everybody needs to hear...thats why even JT and Zach were expendable if Saban wanted. The players he signed showed thier versitility and quick learning curve already...and the players he picked in the draft were not only STEALS but replacements for the older players....lets face it....#54 and 99 wont line up and play for much longer

Greenwood wasn't very good. Crowder will be better than him. Your contridicting yourself because he drafted Crowder and Roth to get younger on defense. Carter and Holliday are stop gap measures. So your saying Saban should have reached for a player in the 2nd round at S or G over BPA? I think not jack.

For someone with all these posts on Finheaven, you really dissapointed with that last one supporting "Slower by the second Sammy Knight" and Greenwood who is average at best.

Why not wait until the season starts before bashing the coach!! I just love people who don't give others a chance!! I'm not saying that all the picks are premium, but we just won't know until they take the field and play. It's just another excuse to bash those, who already hated Nick Saban!! :fire: :fire:

1. Greenwood's making WAY too much money. If we can't keep Surtain why the hell would we keep Greenwood?

2. Knight and Freeman were slated to make way too much money too. Freeman was due 3 million, and Knight is making a ton with KC.

3. We're rebuilding -- we're not one player away. "Needs" doesn't even make any sense -- you take the best impact player on the board.

4. And in the cases you're talking about, which are few and far between, the older player is making less money.

1. Greenwood was his best cut especially considering how much Money he was going to make
2. First off I think everybody is forgetting about Yerimiah Bell, Bell is YOUNG, and has LOADS of POTENTIAL, and Tebucky Jones is ALREADY better than Antonio Freeman, Jones has the most raw ability as a Safety that we have had here in a long time, and he's got one thing that has DEFINITELY been missing at safety.........SPEED!!!
3. Matt Roth will be an immediate impact player IMO, and he was a need this year, EVERYBODY on our D-line is gettin up ther in age, and ROTH helps us out there, the reason he's needed this year is because it usually takes a year or two for someone to reach their full potential at DE........Would you have rather waited until everybody else was gone to try to upgrade?????

If saban drafts a qb this year this could be the best draft in Dolphin history. The only area of concern for me under Saban is the Qb position. But we haven't seen the 2nd day of the draft so I'll be patient. The players he let go either sucked or were two expensive for a rebuilding team.

If you don't like Saban why dont you join Morlon Greenwood and become a Houston Fan because everyone knows Greenwood is not good enough to be a starter it will be proved when he gets run over next year by chris Brown, The Edge and injury prone fred Taylor
