This was definitely the problem.Each of the Trifecta in reality took 1, 2, or 3 steps up above and beyond their last responsibility level, were clearly in over their heads, and just didn't rise to their respective challenges.
A ton of hind-sight being used here, but everyone around Finheaven called the Colombo/Carey debacle at the time
This was definitely the problem.
And the main culprit was Parcells, who should've insulated himself against that possibility by hiring a GM and head coach with a track record.
Of course Parcells is likely too grandiose for that.
