Many national analysts pick the Dolphins to finish near the bottom of the league.

Receiver Mike Wallace says they’re in for a surprise.
“Honestly, it’s going to be exciting just to get out there and win for ourselves,” he said. “To hell with everyone else. They’re not out here in the heat with us. I don’t care. It’s just going to be fun for my teammates because I know we have the team do it.”
Wallace (hamstring) was limited in practice Tuesday but said he hopes to be fully ready Wednesday.
“Hamstring was a little bit sore, but I’m fine,” he said. “I told them I wanted to get back out there. Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow.”

You tell em Wallace!! 2014 will be special I think.

I'm really hoping this team is pissed at the view the pundits have of them. Use that as bulletin board material and prove them wrong. Winning is the only way to change their minds. You don't change minds by trying hard, that's for sure.

While the timing with RT is essential to get on track, making sure that hammy is not a lingering issue is more vital.

I agree with you, however we've been saying this every offseason for years and years now. Talk is cheap, and until this team proves something on the field when it counts, its all typical offseason BS to me. I seem to remember Incognito proclaiming a 1500 yard season for Miller last year, and blah blah blah blah.

I realize the guys are set up by the interviewers with these types of questions, I just for once would like them to back up their words rather than just another season full of BS offseason promises. Maybe they need a new bulletin board?

I'd love to be picked high every year, to be favored in every game. That aligns with talent level. When you don't have talent level you whine about disrespect and clutch vague theories like camaraderie.

That said, it must be frustrating as heck. The talent gaps in the NFL are so narrow compared to other leagues. It's easy to kid yourself and believe you are right there near the top. Then when it doesn't unfold that way I don't know how some of the teams maintain the intensity level down the stretch.

I hope we continue to ride under the radar. With teams like the Jets and the Bills getting more attention than us, that has to piss our players off.

Could that be construed as a tad bit of leadership coming out of lil' Mike?

Back it up dude...back it up.

This organization has lacked real success for so long that the buzz always make it seem like we are perennial bottom feeders. In truth, Wallace is right, we're not usually bottom feeders, we're the best in the league at being just good enough to be not quite good enough. Instead of terrible, we're mediocre.

Until the Fins players can say something like We`re even better then what you guys think, that`ll mean something... We`re not that bad just means your going to end up with a bad draft spot with no playoffs to boot... that statement is spewing mediocrity IMO...

I do pray that iam wrong but if we are 8-8 we will be better than what people think we are. This is the year i want us to start breaking this curse.
