He could use a position change and has lined up at Wr in his career. Why not?

He ran for over 1,000 yards last year! If he stunk it up then sure. Dont fix whats not broken.

Bess is now our number 1. We will get two more in the draft within the first 4 rounds. Throw a new TE in there within the first 3 rounds.

So you want us to make our receiving core slightly worse while completely obliterating our rushing attack? Just not a good idea at all.

Which brings me to my next point: Don't. Smoke. Crack.

#1 - no, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him play a lot of WR under Philbin. Look at highlight's of Flynn playing and see the speed he's used to playing with on offense. Flynn showed he can get the ball out to fast receivers, and not necessarily anything else in his limited time.

Re-signing Steve Slaton is another indicator of this.

Bush is a Percy Harvin- type player, a slot RB/WR.

By body type, by experience, by skill set.

He IS NOT and NEVER WILL BE an every-day NFL "halfback" in the classic sense. Too susceptible to injury, not big enough.

WHY should Philbin (who is an intelligent guy) continue precipitating the bone-headed cluelessness of a decision made by soprano out of desperation, to use Bush as a #1 RB?

Except, um, for last year when he was 1,000 yard back.
