Van Noy was set to count $13.9 million against the cap. The Dolphins will get $9.775 million of that space back by parting ways with him.

So the hidden thing here is Fitz and him were the 2 oldest dudes on the team (Fitz much older). We have a very young team and we just lost 2 of arguably the biggest leaders on O and D, if Fitz goes elsewhere. I hope this does not bite us in the butt, as sometimes stats don't fully reflect what a player is worth, especially with a very young team. Will definitely need some young guys to step up and hopefully sign a locker room leader type in FA. I like Tua's potential there, but he is still very young.

No, just AVG isn't enough (although he is an ascending player).

They must think KVN is replaceable at $10 mil for 2021.
