Rent a Dolphin

I'm surprised Bryant Mckinnie hasn't offered up his services, I mean if Daunte Culpepper can get $3,000 for a some camping, Mckinnie should be able to ease his economic downfall by selling some dance lessons. And why no Aaron Hernandez? Who doesn't want a letter from prison?
Bryant isn't listed but he should be available for:
(a) all you can eat buffets. Golden Corral Managers quake when he and John Jerry enter the room.
(b) his special expertise in Miami stripclubs. He may offer his recommendations and maybe still he's available for floating group celebrations.
(c) his professional advice in preparing for bankruptcy and retirement.

Rob Gronkowski wants $5000 to tweet something. $5000 to send you less than 90 characters on a website. Wow.

Might be worth it if we could get him to say that he and Brady were not only in the car with Hernandez, but were also loading magazines for him and shouting encouragement. :idk:

How about paying Mercury Morris to make 17-0, undefeated references to every NFL team's twitter or website at the end of every season? The p!ssing off everyone factor has to have some appeal to a few people on this board :chuckle:

A company called Thuzio, created in part by Tiki Barber, has over 2,000 sports celebrities available for booking for various services. Ranging from tweets, dinner, round of golf or even being a member of your fantasy league. Prices vary for the different types of service. I noticed there were a few Dolphins on the list. You can have Hartline tweet to you for $500, want a dinner date with Kim Bokamper? It will only cost you a $1,000. How about taking John Offerdahl to a Dolphins game with you? A meager $1,500 and he's all yours. Here's a link to former and current Fins available for your pleasure.

I would rather rent a Dolphins Cheerleader. That would be a great service.

How can anyone actually pay these assholes hundreds/thousands of dollars knowing they're just pocketing the money (no charities or worthy causes involved, which would make it worthwhile) and actually look these guys in the eye? Where's your dignity? The athlete is probably thinking 'lmfao, this guy is pathetic'. I hope no one spends a cent to hang out/get a tweet/whatever with these guys, and this stupid 'business' goes belly up asap.

The only way i'd do it is the annual golf and fishing events where there is one fee and you get to hang out with everyone afterwards plus the money goes to charity.

Exactly. Nolan Carroll- lmao, ****ing NOLAN CARROLL- wants me to pay $1600 to play golf with him, plus greens fees and I have to buy this multi-millionaire beers too? Are you ****ing ****ting me? Who in the **** would do this and still have a shred of self-respect afterwards? Do I have to buy him a hooker too? Lmfao, it would be hilarious if it wasn't the most pathetic thing I've ever heard.

**** all that then. If it was going to charity that would be one thing. These people get paid enough as is. I mean, come on, $500 for a ****ing tweet? That is absurd.

Really? I don't have a problem with it. They have a right to make money, the same as anyone else. If someone out there wants to pay for this service, why not?

In fact, I think it's great. If you think it stinks, don't pay for it.

What's the problem?

Then you are either extremely wealthy to think throwing away money like that a good idea or really high.

You realize the amount you're paying to do these things with them is chump change to them? A thousand dollars here or there toward a worthy charity would be money much better spent. Not lining their already fat wallets.

I take back some of what I said. If they are retired it's no different than charging for autographs and appearances. If they are current players then they should be donating to charities.

Current players have a very short window in order to make enough to retire on. I don't blame them for keeping every cent, and in general it's a shame they make so little on contracts that aren't fully guaranteed. the NFLPA is remarkably toothless compared to it's counterparts in other sports.

Now if Peyton Manning (or LeBron James, or some other megastar) does an appearance and donates the money, that's probably a good thing for them to do. They've got more than enough. But I don't blame Nolan Carroll for getting as much as he can. If somebody wants to put down a few thousand to hang out with him, who does it hurt?

Sorry. I don't buy that. Pun not intended. If players are smart with their money when they are playing they will have more than enough when they are done. Problem is the majority seem to think they have to buy every expensive thing out there.

Don't get me wrong, I'd probably be just as dumb with my money at that age too. Still, to charge what is essentially a paycheck and a half for the average person for something as trivial as a tweet is nothing short of Highway robbery. Not only that but you have no guarantee that they will show up or even treat you like a human being if you buy something more than a tweet.

"Hartline Tweet: Sup man thanks for the $$$$, you got any more?" end tweet...lol.

If you got money to burn... who cares, if it makes you happy. People spend ridiculous amounts of money every second on stuff that may appear to be foolish to some and a great buy to others. This type of service does not surprise me.

I want be spending any money on the service... But I'm sure others are racing to sign-up for it.
