Report: Broncos prepared to do “whatever it takes” to get Peyton

Vic Lombardi is now on that show and he said the Broncos are convinced they have Manning. He said they don't plan on letting him leave.

Maybe the silver lining is if the Phins don't get Manning they will have more money available to sign other players.

Great and the position that has hindered them for a decade still hinders them. Dolfans will learn one day, you have and have had teams plenty good enough to compete for superbowls but no qb. With an elite qb this team NOW is good enough to make a run. We dont need to keep trying to convince ourselves adding more "guys" in other areas is the answer. Thats been our motto for a decade.

Sounds like Broncos are willing to sign all his ex teammates, give him the money, and I think he might be scared of Brady, and wanting the easiest AFC route to playoffs

Manning would be foolish not to test the waters elsewhere. Hopefully archie is talking sense to him lol

What will these Denver guys say when he leaves for Phoenix tomorrow?

He said they don't plan on letting him leave.

I always love this line. I picture Manning in a dimly lit dungeon, fists clinched to the cell bars with one of those black balls stuffed in his mouth like you see in S&M.

Dad!! Help!

Ive also thought about manning thinking twice about coming here because of Brady. He might be a turn off for peyton

They said Manning is staying in Denver tomorrow.

They said he is staying in tonight, then supposedly another meeting tomorrow. 24 hours in a day. He will go to Phoenix. We just have knee-jerking going on right now.

You mean like everyone was convinced Fisher was signing with the Dolphins???

NFLN said he left the facility and it spending the night in Denver then its off to Arizona. Relax for now. Monday night/Tuesday is going to be when you can worry.

Things that Vic Lombardi said:

*Said that Manning wouldn't pull Elway's chain if this wasn't a serious meeting. Says the Broncos are the favorites.

*John Elway is a smart football person and that is what Manning is looking for.

*Arizona is not a serious contender.

*Says Miami is in the mix with Denver.

*Houston won't get involved.

*Mentions Peyton having a home in Miami, yet says Manning is not a "Miami guy".

Brandon Spano chimes in that word he is getting is that Manning wants nothing to do with the AFC East because of having to play against Tom Brady. Though Vic doesn't think that is necessarily true. Vic says Miami is not a good fit.

And who is this Vic fella? I'll wait until Tuesday, and if Manning is a Bronco on Tuesday, then it is what it is. I'll wait until more people start saying this, before I take it as more than just 2 random guys opinions.
