Report: Dolphins knew of Davone Bess' problems before trade

Since I'm a nurse in a psychiatric hospital let clear some things up.

A March-man Act is strictly poly-substance abuse usually ETOH abuse. A Baker ACT is for the mentally ill.

HIPAA restricts information to law enforcement and who the person deems necessary: spouse, parent, etc. HIPAA can also be use to expressly deny people from getting access to your personal health information.

The Dolphins could NOT under penalty of federal law disclose Bess's personal health information. Unless they wanted jail time, yes I do mean jail time not a fine. HIPAA is that severe.

FYI

I was JUST ABOUT to post that the Dolphins were probably restricted by HIPAA from what they could disclose to the Browns. The Browns would have to find this out by doing their own due diligence.

ireland had many faults but I suspect this is not on him, or on the Dolphins. That won't stop the new york loving media from trying to beat us up about it, though.

come on 9ers....

Ahh…I get it. It was Farmer's job to know that Bess lost his marbles. That info is always easy to get over the internet.

Better yet, let's not make out this like the Browns got fleeced. They essentially traded spots in the draft for a good slot receiver.

The point of the story is did the Fins knowingly play dirty pool?

Blame Bess or his agent not the Dolphins. The Dolphins can't go around telling everyone we have a player who may have lost his marbles do you want to trade for him.
