It wasn't a PR move. Violation of acceptable workplace behavior isn't an NFL rule; it's a United States law, and one from which NFL doesn't enjoy immunity. They suspended RI to minimize the organization's liability should this wind up in a courtroom.
 
There ya go Ireland. Great move by you. Instead of paying him and bringing him back to help a severely depleted OL, lets pay him to sit at home. Great move. :crazy:
 
Put him on the field for **** sakes. Enough is enough. We need to win games. Who gives a **** about what he did to a ****ing loser in Martin. Martin is just a huge ***** who can't take it. End of story. Nobody cares about him or the situation anymore. This is football.
 
Any updates on this? Did he agree to a suspension with pay for the rest of the season?
