Report: Jonathan Martin "gone AWOL

Omg you people crying about bullying by adult males makes me sick. Martin is a soft bitch. Hopefully he leaves and we get some money back on his contract. What a bust
 
Wow. I dont know what to say. I had a strange feeling when they didn't disclose the illness that something fishy was going on.

Can't believe he is THAT mentally weak to just walk out on the team. IDC how badly the team was "Bullying" him (god I can't believe a grown man takes bullying that serious) you just don't quit on the team.

I love my fins and have defended them left and right, thick and thin but this just adds more fuel to the flame with the Pouncey controversy etc.

And now the reports of more locker room problems? Idk this is not looking good
 
Let me see he got bullied all day the past few sundays on the field but what happened off the field is what bothered him lol
 
Ill also say nobody on the line is playing well enough to rib anybody about anything
 
Now, I agree depression, etc is serious, so I think there was a lot more building up then just teammates sitting at another table.

Get PO'ed and throw a tray...I'm fine with that, show some emotion, go for it, especially after losing 4 games in a row, just don't quit on your team.
Tell them they are all a** h**** and leave for the rest of the night, but be there for practice the next day.
Rookies get their heads shaved and bleached and they don't quit.
 
This is what happens when a criminal labels you "Big Weirdo" on your first day. Mike Pouncey is a ****ing idiot. Martin probably feels ostracized thanks to his play and where he comes from. It's frustrating... you don't need idiots making it worse.

Dimitri Underwood comes to mind. The guy was caught in our meetings drawing pictures of the Apocalypse and later attempted suicide.

I hope Martin gets the help he needs, but this is terrible news. I wonder if the McKinnie trade had more to do with Martin's instability than it had to do with Clabo's inability.

Combine that with the fact that the real men on the team (the leadership council) were all removed from the locker room and that we don't have regular team captains that are supposed to "check" stuff like this when it gets out of control. A-holes like Pouncey (with his "Free Hernandez" posture), try to marginalize "weaker" guys and they look for a "whipping boy." Martin, with his poor play and docile demeanor fit the bill.
 
Just a thought....Imagine if you will the Dolphins decided to keep Bush, Burnett, and Dansby....(as those player would have little impact on the cap) would the team be better off?
 
From a leadership standpoint, yeah, probably. The Dolphins right now are a commuter team. Everyone just clocks in and clocks out. There's no leadership and no true camaraderie. Martin probably thought he could get better this year, but actually he's gotten worse. I think our o-line coach needs to be fired. Jake Long got worse, Clabo sucks, Jerry got worse. Meanwhile Pouncey is out getting wasted with his brother at Free Hernandez parties. What the hell?

I think the worst thing the NFL did was to reduce practices by law. Stupid NFLPA.
