Report: NFLPA will Decertify before Thursday Night

The whole country is run on the basis of greed. Just look at our politicians and big business.
Yes I agree with a lot of that, but not everyone bro. I think I very good amount of the hard working americans have learned from the depression and will be better from it. I think banks and other businesses will not see the over zealous spending and loans that they once saw again. The same could be said about this CBA. I am not siding with either side. I hold them both accountable that this mess has gotten this far. It is time for the fans to speak up and say we put the game where it is now, and we can take that away buy not spending our very hard earned money any more.

I'll tell you who the lockout will help financially.

ME.

I will save over 300.00 on DirecTV, plus whatever stupid rookie/FA jersey I know d--- well I would have bought. Knockoff, of course.

Woo hoo.

Now, what teams are in the UFL?

two sides of greedy people and the only real loser is the fan. I dont respect that the union wont go for a rookie wage scale though because it actually hurts vets.
I was against the 18 game schedule because of the slight integrity of some great benchmarks but they survived the 16 game change. 1000 yard rusher will be a term not ever worth using again though. Not sure how the owners make so much more money from an 18 game schedule when they will get rid of the 2 preseaon games, its not like u dont pay full price for them.

Tickets for preseason games are relatively hard to sell. When I was stationed at Riley, I was going to be tickets to the fins chiefs game and ended up not because to buy single game tickets, you had to buy a preseason ticket as well.

Unfortunately the NFL is pricing itself out of the blue collar market and pulling in more corporate customers. They won't feel the pinch of guys like me that can't afford season tickets instead picking 1 game a year to see and those who spend ridiculous amounts of money on merchandise.

This strike will hit the players harder as they are receiving no income and last I heard, owners are still banking TV funds while paying only coaching staffs. The players can take a hard line but in the end, I'd be willing to bet the owners will come out on the better end of the s**t stick. Of course, fans will pay the price in the end but they don't care and they know the fans will all be back when they resume.

UFL is on the brink of financial ruin and collapse, whereas the NFL is arguing how many billions of dollars should go to who. Good stuff.

What does decertify mean?
In short, the NFLPA will not longer be recognized and a union representing the players and will not be recognized as such. Kind of like the opposite when employees of a trucking company all vote to be iin the Teamsters. In this case, all the players voted NOT to have a Union anymore represent them.

It would only be temporary while each side sues each other and pee's on each others shoes, then they will vote to have the Union represent them again.

Yes I agree with a lot of that, but not everyone bro. I think I very good amount of the hard working americans have learned from the depression and will be better from it. I think banks and other businesses will not see the over zealous spending and loans that they once saw again.

Thats why big banks and corporations are heading to China and India
more people, more opportunity and more growth potential
and plan on doing what they did to this country

There might be a strike in the NBA too, so I'll lose the Dolphins and Heat. :boohoo:

Without a Union there is not strike. Its then 32 owners acting in Collusion to lock the doors on their employees.

Or it will be 32 NFL teams setting the rules for employment, and players refusing to show up for work. I highly doubt they lock out the players if they decertify.

I think at worst we'll have a shortened season like they did in 82. There will be football, just and abbreviated version.

Am I the only one that doesn't understand why a strike would be an option? I mean here are owners and players who want more money about to go on strike and get NO MONEY. Just doesn't make logical sense to me.

As if this off-season isn't bad enough already!!!
