Reshad Jones officially cleared to play

Jones had the same season without the 4 picks, same tackles and everything. .. difference was his role changed. .. Wilson is not even in the same class as Jones Sorry to break it to you...Jones intensity and physicality will put this day over the top and help the run d...they just need to use him the same way they did in '12

Don't just look at the stat sheet. Watch the play from two years ago, and then from last year. Worlds of difference.

I think the fans are better than will davis. That kid is AWFUL!! On top of that, it goes to show what they think of Taylor if he's still playing behind that bum. Wilson back at slot, Davis back to the PINE!

Wow! Did I miss something here? Why the hate for a decent kid? Sure he's likely not going to be anything special in the league. But why?

Unfortunately, getting Jones back does not remove Jimmy Wilson from the field. It just means he moves to nickle CB. I hope Aikens pans out at safety, otherwise I think we need 2 new starting safeties next year.

Jones suffered last season because the team forced him to play a specific role due to the weakness of the LB core. He performed much better in 2012 because he was allowed to freelance.

Getting him back is a positive...allows the team a chance to field a better overall group...the two weeks because of the bye allows him to get up to speed.

Lol anyone who thinks Jones isn't an upgrade is nuts. He may be rusty or whatever but Jimmy Wilson is better in the slot and his tackling has not been good.

I hope we get the Jones from 2 years ago because he was non existent last year.

At least Jones can wrap up and tackle better than Jimmy shoulder bump Wilson.

That's true, but it all depends on Jones not taking himself out of the play with bad angles or biting on the play action, which he does about 90% of the time. I dont think Jones, Wilson, or Delmas are long term solutions to the safety positions.

With GB and CHI up next we will need him.

Let's hope he is in shape and up to speed coming out of the bye.

Fortunately he is only 4 weeks removed from camp...and he has those 2 weeks.

I'm just happy that Delmas and Finnegan stayed healthy until Jones got back. Jones is pretty durable, so I feel a lot better with him back in the team.

I like Will Davis, but he has been exposed a lot so far this season. It will be good to get Wilson back in the nickel.

I think it is safe to say the team has some decent depth in the secondary...

Absurd number.. 90%? Gibril wilson was not even that bad.
Now we get to see Delmas or Jones slide into the box vs the run.
Jordy nelson will give us fits though

Jordy Nelson is what everyone thought Hartline would become. Not even close. Philbin didn't bring an ounce of Green Bay with him.
