Richie wants to return to the Fins

Only idea dumber is him signing with San Fran.

Ritchie needs to take care of himself before he tries to do anything else right now. He is definately dealing with some demons right now. From the investigation, to him trashing his Ferrari after he found out his parents were separating, the signs are there. Hope he gets the help he needs.

Sometimes mentally ill people avoid breakdowns by fixating on goal, whatever it is, and obsessively and aggressively pursuing it. That seems to be what he's doing. He should switch to something else. There's zero chance he comes here, and the fact that people around him have probably told him that, yet he is still starting a public campaign to return, shows you his inability to remain in the reality-based world.

I'm in a quandry on this one. Considering what some players have done and are still in the league....its hard to justify saying Incognito shouldn't be able to play. Having said that, he's not a HOF'er, and sometimes its better to just cut bait. I would not be surprised if by mid-season he's on some team and playing better than he did here due to him trying to tell off the rest of the league by his play. Good Lord people, if Richie shouldn't be in the NFL, then we could start a list of people that should be cut immediately or have the HOF membership pulled and all their records stricken. I'll start that list.....Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Leonard Little, Lawrence Taylor.....and thats in a fog way too early in the am. If they could play in the NFL, please don't tell me Richie shouldn't just because he's a dumb jerk. Again, I wouldn't want to 'hang' with him, but lets not say he's the worst of the worst....his actions would be way way way down the list of NFL player bad apples. How about Arian Foster getting his brother to tell his mistress to have an abortion because that would make Arian love her more?

I would take him back because he is the best current guard on our roster and better then any available free agent at the moment. He would have to take a low risk contract with easy escape clauses. He would probably be on his best behavior. It would also be a royol FU to Goddell and his evil empire.

I'm sure Ross hired some highly paid external consultant firm that made a fancy powerpoint presentation that showed a big red stop light because the benefits above are out wieghed by the media fenzy distraction and the 10% possibility that Richie reverts to his full mutant potential.

That being the case, I'm sure the Pats will pick him up and it will be heralded as the greatest free agent pick up o fall time.

Michael Vick was able to come back to the Eagles after murdering dogs and serving prison. However, I think it is more difficult for Richie to come back then it was for Vick. This country's morals are out of whack...

Also, Richie could help keep the Jon Martin's or wimps off the team.

I say give him 1 yr, vet minimum, 1mil bonus if he allows zero sacks all year. another million if he keeps his mouth shut, unless it's about football, all year, while on the field or in the locker room.

horrible comparison. Vick was on the Falcons when he was dogfighting and ATL didn't want any part of him from then on. He eventually went to the Eagles, but its not as if the Falcons welcomed him back. It also took Vick a long time to come back, I don't know what you are talking about. Richie will get a job somewhere, just not here.

... & no thanks on Richie evaluating our 2014 offensive line and determining who is a whimp or not. we saw how that worked out last year.

Regarless of how you feel about Incognito, we cant take him back if we expect to move on from this. It would be bad PR for us and it would look like the firings of O'Neill and Turner were not justified.
