Ricky and Ronnie

You are obviously missing the point.

I have plenty of really good friends who smoke the grass. It ain't about that.

It IS about a star player who QUIT on his team one friggin week before they were supposed to report for training camp.

That, my friend, is inexusable.

I have friends that smoke weed too (I just don't hang with them when they do it), I think we agree that RW's decision to smoke is not the issue. I think we disagree on whether or not his decision to quit football, (or more precisely the way he quit) is inexcusable. Football is a game, it is not real life. These guys (athletes) are coddledand pampered almost since jr. high school..they have a distorted view of reality...I am not excusing what he did, but I think he deserves the chance to show if he has learned from his mistake.

I totally understand where you are coming from also....I am just glad we have Ronnie because now we really do not need RW and if he does come back all of the teammates he hung out to dry should be allowed to beatch slap him at least once.

Man, let me tell you what...

on April 23rd, at about 12:30 pm Central time, I was absolutely throwing hooks in the air when Paul Tagliabue announced that the Miami Dolphins selected "Ronnie Brown, running back, Auburn."

I broke my flip-flop from jumping up and down.

What a pick. Ronnie is already my favorite player.

It is exciting to have Ronnie on the team, just hopefully the system, qb and line dont make his rookie season too rough.

...with our coaching staff???

Are you serious?

If anything, it will be easier, because of the basic TEACHING our players will now have.

Of course im serious...we are installing a brand new offense, and will be counting on a rookie running back behind a question mark line with a question mark qb. I hope it worx out.

It can't be worse than last year.

And the difference?

We now have TEACHERS as coaches. Not idiots.

When the pick was announced I scared the crap out of my kids when I yelled in celebration!!!

They actually ran into the room to see if I was OK!!

Ronnie hopefully will be here produceing for a long time.

Ok just a little off topic but if u had to choose a fantasy rb from the top 3 (caddy, benson and brown) who do u think is goin into the best situation and will be the best back over time?

THIS year, probably Cedric. The bears will hand him the ball like 400 times a game.

Over the long haul?? Caddy or Ronnie. Both of their teams have really good coordinators and they will catch the ball a lot out of the backfield.

So, Ronnie Brown. Who else? :D
