As I have been saying for weeks. This nut-job doesn't know what he wants. This comment from Ricky says is it all.....(article from June 10th)

Is anyone shocked he is having 2nd thoughts?

As I have been saying. I will believe Ricky returns to the NFL when I see it. I don't think he ever puts on an NFL jersey again. Whether it be mini-camp, training camp, or a game.

I truly believe that is what he has to say. I just don't know why anyone would think that Ricky is just going to come right out and say that he is coming back until after his allowable return date.
 
The funny thing about that article dating is that they are referring to a month old CNNSI article. This article is out of date by the time of printing. Surprised you didn't catch on to that Mike.

Come on now. Why is it that we have to analyze every little quote?

He will be back. He will play. He will then retire in 2 years like he already stated he would.

Let him mess with the media all he wants.

Not to mention that I odn't think this quote was taken on the 10th. I believe he was quoted saying that exact same thing about a week and a half ago.

To me the whole article seems like the writer is stating the obvious then taking a quote from an interview not conducted on that same day but reitterating by stating " Recent Interview"

LOL whether he comes back or not is yet to be seen. I think he will come back. However, one thing is for sure. Ricky Williams did not make that quote on the 10th. If he did that would mean he has been interviewed 2 times in the last couple weeks by Sports Illustrated quoting the same answer.

Just another writer trying to put another twist to the story.

So until July 27th, let's try to not analyze every quote. Because media can make us believe what they want to. With clever writing they can make you think Ricky is now having second thoughts about returning. They can edit it and write it however they want to make it look a certain way.

OK, honestly........what does that have to do with anything. The man can yap yap yap all he wants about what he's gonna do, but until he does it he's not infringing upon any rules.
 
He will play just enough until the Dolphins organization forgives the 8 million he owes them.
He is a selfish, unprincipled individual.
 
The way I see it, we're playing with the house's money. We really don't need Ricky. We have enough quality backs to have a really good running game. If he comes back and wants to contribute, that's just the icing on the cake. It's not like last year where we built the team completely around him that when he left, we were left picking up the pieces.

I don't trust Ricky either but that quote has got to be a month old....it has been discussed already and does not mecessarily represent Ricky's feelings now about returning.
