First off, you don't call anybody on this board an idiot. Respond to the post. All Mike O is pointing out is that in another day in the Life of Ricky Williams, he doesn't know which was he wants to go! I think he will never be the same as he was before, and for people to think he is going to come back and save the Dolphins is crazy. This is why we have Brown. Let's move forward with a team, and not worry about the confused person of Ricky Williams. He needs medical help for his condition, and I think football is the last think he needs. He needs to get is life stable first.jagmagicus said:LOOK you idiot. I'm sure as the case is more often than not with the media his comment was probably taken out of context. He could just be concerned do to his time off what kind of shape he will be in, and if he will live up to his and everyone elses expectations.
do you see the comma at the end of Ricky's statement???
I can make your statement sound like something it's not in the same way.
Listen to this Quote by MikeO "I will believe Ricky returns to the NFL," Now that is exactly what you said, but when you read that comment by itself that is not at all what you meant is it?
My comment for you and all the other ignorant "ricky hater", "AJ SUCKS", and detractors is SHUT THE HELL UP and quit calling yourselves Dolphin fans. Be happy about what is good for the team and be supportive instead of feeding on controversy the press embelishes.:yell: :yell:
I feel much better now...:D

jagmagicus said:OK, sorry for the "idiot" remark. That probly wasn't the best thing to say. However, I never said Ricky was gonna be the "savior" either. I don't think he will be very good at least not until mid season or so, till he gets his legs and vision back. We will be a hellova offense with or without Ricky.:D
I am just sick of all the "Dolphin fans" and media mostly in South Florida who create controversy. No other sports market or fan base that I can think of that has been one of the most dominant teams in sports ,like the Dolphins, has the drama this team has. I blame it on the snowbirds that come down from the home of our most feirce rivals, but whatever the case, either get behind the Dolphins, or get out of the way. STOP BASHING OUR PLAYERS, creating, and enabling controversy around our players. (this is not just in reference to this article b/c Mike O really didn't bash anyone) I would however rather be called an idiot instead of a "nut job". What if Ricky were to read that or all the other crap said about him hear??? Not that he would probably care, but it still would be better not said.
My point is taking things out of context is wrong, then Mike O goes and starts a thread titled the way it was was not IMO anything more than a dramaqueens attempt at getting some attention.![]()
All of Ricky's comments in this article are from a month ago. There's nothing new in here to support Ricky's having 2nd thoughts.MikeO said:http://www.blackathlete.net/artman/publish/article_0781.shtml
As I have been saying for weeks. This nut-job doesn't know what he wants. This comment from Ricky says is it all.....(article from June 10th)
Williams, who, according to his agent Leigh Steinberg, will report to Miami Dolphins training camp in late July, has unsurprisingly gone from being "excited" about the prospect of his return to football, to being virtually clueless about it. And all in the time it might take him to inhale and exhale.
"I honestly do not know about playing football again," Williams said in a recent online interview with Sports Illustrated.
Is anyone shocked he is having 2nd thoughts?
As I have been saying. I will believe Ricky returns to the NFL when I see it. I don't think he ever puts on an NFL jersey again. Whether it be mini-camp, training camp, or a game.
