Ricky is not going anywhere.

Like I have said in other posts. I agree. Ricky is not going anywhere. He will always hold more value for us than what another team would be willing to give no matter how good he is.

He has a new perspective and I believe he only wants to play for Saban.

He was contacted by Saban not the other way around.

Believe it or not I personally think its more likely we would trade Ronnie Brown. Please don't misunderstand. I don't think we would, but we have already given him a lot of garaunteed money to an unproven commodity who; even though unproven, hold a ton more trade value including a top of the line QB.

I know a lot of people still don't trust Ricky but he is here to stay and there will be no more flaking. He is a different person and is beginning to figure himself out. I have read many of the same books and see exactly what he is saying and what he means. But you have to admit, as far as a trade, there is a hell of a lot more value for trading Brown. (Again, not that I'm recommending that)

So because Ricky sort of hints at staying, that means Saban will automatically not trade him? I tend to think not.

He didn't hint nothing. He was the one who asked the question to the reporter.
He really went out of his way to show the reporter that he is committed. He didn't have to do that. Saban sees that he is committed. So Saban will be committed to him. He is a smart guy. And getting rid of Ricky would be dumb.

He wont be traded yet anyway, as long as hes going to help us Im cool with it, we will see what happens though.
