Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown

Ronnie right now is the priority. If he plays well in the first games he's gonna stay in the strating lineup. It sure helps to have ricky in the mix, but i don't think both will recieve the same amount of carries.

yeah we should sit a probowl running back on the bench (ricky) and play a rookie. ha ha hahahah. each has his role. see auburn last year. we are going to mirror them. we are too dangerous with both on the field at the same time.

RIght on, and imagine this scenario - Ricky and Ronnie in the backfield with split wideouts - it would drive a defense nuts trying to cover.:goof:

I've heard a lot of people talk about Ricky. Do the Fins want him back? How should he be used? etc.

Watching the game I was thinking that Ricky will be fine. He looks great. However, could his presense actually stunt the growth of Ronnie Brown.

Hi Ronnie, welcome to the NFL. BTW, your back up is the best RB in the league. You have 4 games to prove yourself.

I think that is a pretty intimidating situation. I know that no one in Fin camp talks about it in that manner but it might cause him to do to much.

Any thoughts...

What better way to light a fire under an already motivated man. Plus, splitting with RW will mean a longer career, and less wasted carries on a team on the rise. Also, he may learn some good (on teh field) things from Ricky. I say it's a luxury to ahve them both. Another thing. With Ronnie's great hands, he can be on the field at the same time as Ricky, often as a receiver out of the backfield, which still gives him a chance to see how plays develop for a running back (holes opening and stuff like that) even when he's the receiver. First hand experience with less wear and tear. Saban will find the best way to use them both.

welcome to my madden games

What happened to "Ricky lost all that weight and he's going to be some sort of 98-pound weakling?" Looks quick as all get-out to me, and when he puts his shoulder down, he hits hard...
