I thought they were tested for drinking once they were in the drug program

Once in the drug program he is subject to "up to 10 tests per month".

If he is in the drug program as reported, he MAY have been tested already, but not necesarrily. He could go weeks without a single test, or he could be tested several times in a week. I would think that they would nail him a couple of times real early on in the process.

Haha, ummm yes you can......and he does get tested for both.

You are not allowed to drink while in the substance abuse program.

I'm sure by now he has probably given a voluntary test. He technically doesn't HAVE to start the testing until his one year "retirement" ends. As of now, he still has no official ties to the league, so any test would be voluntary at this point.

He has to take the tests since he is in the program.

definatly... i just dont understand... Alcohol and cigarretts kill millions of people a year... How many people die a year from smokin weed? maybe a couple only because they got so high they passed out mid blunt and burned the house down!

Even though I agree weed is no worse then alcohol or cigarettes, it still causes lung cancer I believe. Im sure weed has caused or contributed to quite I few deaths.

I was wondering if there has been any news about Ricky and the Drug Program. I'm pretty sure that he enrolled in the drug program a few weeks ago, has he been tested yet?? I guess with an issue like this no news is good news, but I was just wondering if anybody knows if he has been tested? If he has I'm sure he passed since we havent heard anything about it.

I hope he did that would be cool and show that he is really trying.

My brother's friend's roomate's cousin said they saw Ricky at a mall buying a Dolphins jersey so he could play this year. He said Ricky is doing fine and passing all his tests. :)

nobody is going to hear anything about Ricky's test results. At least not until the League hands down another suspension. Progress in the NFL substance abuse program and drug test results are kept secret. Ricky may choose to speak about his progress, but the league wont.
