Mercury was The Man to me as a kid. I would draw up plays in my backyard and pretend I was him. So sad. A true Dolphins and Football Legend. He was part of the Greatest 3 headed Monster RB trio in NFL History, along with Kiick and Zonk. RIP Merc, you will always be remembered and cherished!

RIP to a Dolphins Legend.

I will always remember running into him and a few other ex Dolphins players at a bar during spring break 15 or so years ago in FL. They were doing some charity event that weekend. My dad and I are huge Dolphins fans and one of the guys let us wear his 72’ Super Bowl ring. We got some pictures taken and talked for a bit. Really friendly guys.
