Rishard Matthews trade speculation.

Matthews had a key drop on 3rd down in the last game against The Jets that haunted him this offseason as well.

I don't think I'll ever be able to forget that play. Completely killed any momentum we had in the game and honestly felt like that play ended up being what caused us to lose.

Hartline is so money on those deep out, tapping his feet inbounds. and thats one of tannehill's favorite throws to make. he's not going anywhere.

One other thing on Matthews is that he took his own time to work out with Tannehill in the off season, and it did help him. IMO, that also counts for something.

If there's gonna be any action on the trade front today's probably the day...

I'm very surprised that some focus in on his only drop of the year, while not doing the same with Clay's drops, and every other player who made a mistake along with many more.

Calling that play the reason we lost the game is ridiculous.

There are certain plays that turn the tide of the game im pretty sure anyone would agree with that. On the pass in in question he had nothing but green ahead. He was either scoring or getting very deep in Jets territory. He turn to look upfield and dropped it. We punted they scored. Big momentum swing...hell even he said it bothered him this offseason.

Matthews is a natural zone breaker but doesn't separate particularly well against cornerbacks. He can use body lean and 'box-out' dbs. He's showed toughness and desire to win the football to me from the get-go. He plays bigger than his height.
