Not for anything.......this guy was the guy who Carolina ran out of town after the poor job he did with Cam last yr as the OC, a yr later they win the division......now he is a HC who is about to get canned after his first yr.....this guy is not the guy we need in Miami for anything........we want to get better not worse

He also did an unbelieveable job with Cam his rookie year, providing some of the most exciting play designs of the entire year, and has done an awesome job at other times with QB's like Derek Anderson who have been successful with nobody else. He also got competitive play out of Brian Hoyer and Jason Campbell this year. I'm not touting this guy for anything, but there is a reason why he became a head coach in the first place, and that's because he did some very good things at his specialty.

Let's also not pretend like Carolina making the playoffs wasn't more attributable to their defense, which allowed over 100 less points this year, than their offense doing much better. That offense was actually less explosive and less dominant this year.

Chud and Norv are Air Coryell guys. It happens to be my favorite offensive system.

But, Philbin's NFL history is West Coast Offense.

I don't see Coryell coming to MIA with Philbin as HC.

Forget new coordinators. This team needs leadership and direction and attitude at the top.

The way Cam played this year for the new guy vs how he played last year for Chud has to be telling of something. I say we think about hiring Carolina's current OC. OR

Crazy thought, but why did Washington seem to be a better team with Cousins than RG3? Does Kyle Shanahan have any value?

Anyone else intrigued by Texas A&M's current coach? I am. I'd like to risk a later round pick on Johnny Football, too. I mean, heck, we brought in the loser coach and the loser QB from that damn school. Why not try bringing in the winning coach/QB combo?

Well then you need to go back to the 3rd grade to re-learn how to spell!

Unless this is supposed to be sarcastic your post makes no sense at all. I said mistyped, not misspelled. Too much holiday egg nog for ya? Or are you still in the third grade?:lol2:

Every coach in the NFL has something to hang his hat on, this guy is not the savior you think he is, we can do better.....and yes Carolina has a great D but Cam being talked about as MVP this yr with 5 come from behind victories.....the team maybe less explosive but they better time of possession and with Shula calling the plays more balance this team is better period no thanks to Chud......

A gem from D'Qwell Jackson right now, to me: "We fired Chud? You're kidding, right? Are you kidding me?"
