Dakota was waiting for a response from me on why I thought Konrad sucks and is an underachiever. Well looks like the end justifies the means seeing that Konnie pulled a Ricky today..

You had to dig up a six month old post to say this? I really don't think Dakota was still "waiting" for a response from you.

There's probably a good reason Tampa Bay didn't end up offering us anything at all for this guy like we were hoping. He's non-impact, in decline and looked like a guy we'd end up cutting anyway. And I wouldn't quite say that RK pulled a Ricky today. This is much easier on everyone than what Ricky did. RK had very little of a football future left, wasn't currently with any team and no one is being hurt by him stepping aside - in MAY especially.

He is with a team, the Raiders. But youre right, nobody cares.

I apologize in advance for my tone, but this pisses me off. Leave the guy alone, for christ's sake! Did you know that his father is an active member of this message board? Did you know he used to actually post and give us updates? You want to know why he stopped? He stopped because people like Jnaledu3 relentlessly talked trash about someone who didn't even deserve it! It is NOT Konrad's fault he was constantly injured. It was NOT Konrad's fault that he was a WCO FB stuck in Wanny's run 35 times a game offense. It is NOT Konrad's fault that they only chances he got to catch the ball were pissed away because Fiedler couldn't throw him a catchable ball. The guy had such a bright future, and it is all but gone now. He is most likely a beaten man, and you sit here kicking him when he is down. I say leave it be, let him go on to do what makes him happy, whatever that may be......

Rob and Mr. Konrad,
I, for one, wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors. Its a shame Rob never got his chance to show what he could really do. He is a heck of a football player, and, from what I hear, one heck of a human being. Keep your chin up, do what makes you all happy, and God Bless. You will be missed.

Maybe someone can help me, but I dont understand why this guy is still on the team. I know fiedler throws some crappy passes at this guy, but he has about 3 or 4 dropped passes in almost every game. I mean, he can at least hang on to a couple of them right?? I doesnt look to me like hes helping in the blocking schemes too, I think i saw him run straight to the bench after the ball was snapped to take a drink instead of helping block. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I think this guy needs to take the same train out of town that fiedler, wanny, and spielman will be riding after the season. Bring back stanley pritchett.
