But without the drops a #5 WR would be a #1 or #2 WR. I think when you're looking at this spot if Baker shows he's reliable catching punts, probably the biggest deciding factor on who returns punts, he will win the job. Simmons hasn't seemed to break out, Ogdan may be faster but doesn't offer the upside, it may finally be Bakers time. Of course there are 4 weeks of camp left.
Baker probably hasn't drop no more passes than any body else,,,especially since they do it twice a day, we may drop some, but he's been hot quite a while now..He's becoming consistent. Plus at the #5 position he won't be asked to be the decision maker for too many of our games...but I think he can mix it up during the games..

Sorry MdFinFan...I've just read he's dropped LOT of passes. The same person did say he was impressive and would give more of an upside than Ogden.
I just wonder if his mental approach and hands overshadow his upside. To be honest guys, I just want a guy who can be a great PR to win the job since in Norv's Offense the #5 will rarely see the field.

Well it seems Baker is going good against the Bucs and this week it counts..but Odgen is catching everything too..But I do love the competition out there..We didn't have this last year..
