Ok, can anyone on this board honestly tell me you would rather have these 2 guys rather than 1 of these guys and TED GINN JR?

We draft him top 15, then trade him for a late round pick?? what the hell??

He could play backup receiver and return kicks for us, I honestly think trading him away was one of the stupidest moves we've made in a long, long time.

He showed potential at receiver and hes PROVEN to be one of the best if not the best returner in the league. and we trade him for a bag of peanuts. what a joke

Dont let one good game fool you hes not that good of a returner

For the couple years we had him he was the only threat at wide receiver we had... I think uhh Camarillo was our #2 at the time?? Yah teams weren't very scared of our wide receivers... and even with that he still produced a couple 50 catch and 500-600 yard seasons if im not mistaken...??

Now that we actually have some decent receivers with marshall coming in, he wouldn't have been our only threat, and would've had a much easier time getting open while playing against lesser corners.... why the heck did we trade him away for nothing after drafting him so high... I really dont understand the moves this team makes sometimes

All the stats in the world regarding field position mean nothing to me when you see a guy who can take it to the house like Ginn can. He also had a punt return earlier in the game that went for good yardage as well.

He is one of the best returners in the NFL.

but it hasn't been just one good game... he did it against the jets , i remember him doing it vs the eagles, and I think another few games where they were called back due to stupid insignificant penalties???

I'm sorry but it's not just one game, the guy has proven to be a threat at returner

I always thought a WR group of Marshall/Ginn/Bess/Hartline would have been more than good enough. Ginn would keep defenses honest . . . that is the hope of Gates/Bush this season.

Only one problem with that...
GINN CAN'T CATCH!

I must have missed something.....

yes, you really must have.... because when we had Ginn he was OUR ONLY THREAT at receiver.. we had freaking camarillo behind him. teams were FOCUSING to stop ginn.

and yet he still put up a 55+ catch 700 yard season??

yah ur right no potential there...??????????????????????????????

Amazing how people somehow see a highlight or two and try and cover up one of the worst draft picks of the past decade.

First play.. Amazing. The rest.. reality. The art of a Ted Ginn Highlight Reel in Jason Allen form

there was plenty of potential there... just never materialized into any form of consistent NFL production

Jason Allen doesn't compare to Ted Ginn in terms of physical skill. Ginn has legit world class speed, I mean there is a difference.

The fact that the game you're talking about is 2 seasons ago. He had 1 touchdown all last year for San Francisco! He's a bum with a potential. I wouldn't want his soft *** back! He's not a football player!

Ginn dropped more touchdowns than he caught and on top of that, if a defender got within 5 yards of him, he'd fall on the ground and piss himself like an abused schoolgirl. Is he a good returner? Yes, awesome, but we needed a number one wide receiver. Not a returner with super speed and no balls.
