mediocrity sucks
Are you seriously comparing Wallace to Marshall? And saying that we will be better with Wallace than Marshall? Excuse me while I laugh....
And then has the nerve to compare 147 targets with 10 targets. LOL at this guy.

Your excused. You go right ahead and make up any nonsensical crap you want to, might as well entertain yourself.
The post was obviously referring to limited usage.
As far as the team being better off without Marshall.............It seems Joe Philbin, Stephen Ross and the FO thought so, and yes, so do I.
Boy...you don't know history around here; do you? You are arguing this WITH THE WRONG PERSON. I am the one who argued with people around here that Marshall wasn't what worth what we gave up for him and that he WAS NOT a Top 5 receiver...so trying to pull a "Stephen Ross and FO thought so" out on me is a joke.
But even though I argued that Marshall wasn't as good as everyone thought, which history has pretty much shown me to be correct, comparing Marshall to Wallace is seriously pathetic....
But you you just keep it up...I'm getting a real kick out of it...![]()
Another disingenuous post.
The stating of the 147 targets was clearly written to draw attention to how Sparano caved in to Marshall's me,me,me attitude. 57% catch ratio isn't anywhere near elite. He didn't deserve to be thrown to anywhere near as much as he was. He didn't produce. He didn't earn his money and he was traded.
Wallace, on the other hand, performed at a good level when given the opportunity, and earned his money on ST's, making him a value player at his salary.
Brandon Marshall was a complete waste of two 2nd round picks and a boatload of money and cap space.
Don't sit here and say you only brought up the catch rate to bring attention to it. You clearly compared 147 targets to 10 targets, and used Wallace's catch rate like it matters. Marshall had 142 targets with a 58% catch rate. Calvin Johnson had 158 targets with a 61% CR. Nicks had 133 targets with a 57% CR. Fitzgerald 154 targets with a 52% CR. Roddy White 180 targets with a 56% CR. Bowe with 142 targets and a 57% CR. Stevie Johnson 134 targets and a 57% CR.
He performed when given the opportunity? I was highly impressed by his 6 catches 2 years ago, let me tell you. Loved watching him allow a blocked punt on ST last year. Really earned his paychecks for sure. He's a scrub. Get over it. I'm not a big Marshall fan, but I know Wallace will never be half the receiver he is.
Guys in bold will be the only WR i'd take over Marshall, on that list. AJohnson is easily ahead of Marshall
But one thing is for certain Marshall led the NFL in dropped passes, and dropped TD passes.

Roddy White led league in dropped passes, not BM.
Before everyone proclaims how brilliant this FO was to get rid of an elite WR....let's see how we do this year with our group that we have.
