Ronnie & his contract...

The fact of the matter is Ronnie Brown is no different than other players. He is no more a team guy than TO. He wants his money for himself, and he is willing to sit out. That is who Ronnie Brown is, good bad or indifferent.

TO agreed to a contract then decided he wanted more. Ronnie is working within what has become accepted practice (even if it is wrong) to see what the #1 gets to set the standard for #2.

TO has blamed, cried and whined about his teammates everywhere he has played, and even refused to accept a legitimate trade to a team that wasnt of his choosing. To my knowledge, Ronnie has never said a bad word about any of his teammates or coaches.

HUGE difference.

I hope he is here for our first game against Denver so we can beat them. Thay cheated for a win on us last season

And I don't.

And that alone is enough to dismiss your opinion forever.

You've based an opinion on a guy before things even happen on a team that starts it's camps a week earlier when not ONE first rounder is signed. My god the stupidity.

Blame Todd France. It's not on Ronnie...It's on his puppetmaster Todd France.....I'm fine with it all but I'm just eager to see him in the HOF game

You couldn't be more wrong.

Agents work for the players. The players have the final say on everything. The agent can give his professional advice and it is usually in the player's best finacial interest to listen, but they are running the show, not the agent.

But all of this is BS anyway, there is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with what is going on right now.....don't blame Ronnie, don't blame his agent, don't blame the Dolphins, don't even blame Dave Wannstedt!!

Anyone who even lifts an eyebrow at Ronnie not being signed yet is completely overreacting. This is how the syestem is, and if it didn't work like this, it would have been changed long ago.

Maybe Ronnie is the unselfish, team first, all-around great guy that everyone claims he is (I'm not sure how you all know this, but I'll play along), how do you know that he isn't pressing to get the contract done but the Phins are holding off talks because THEY want to see what the 49ers give Smith so they can ensure that they don't overpay Brown?? You don't. No one is inside of these negotiations here, so noone shoudl be pointing fingers at either side at this point.

Guys easy there... NOT ONE 1st round pick is signed yet. Not even the last guy taken in the round. Have a little patience here.
