Ronnie vs. Ricky

I don't know. But I know we'll see Ronnie before we'll see Wicky this reg-season.

Ronnie is the franchise, and I think Wicky will be the guy who relieves Ronnie. Wicky is just here to take the pressure off of Ronnie until Wicky is gone or until he retires or fails another drug test.

I personally think both are going to kick ***.

Ronnie might not be what Ricky is, but they're different kinds of backs, and I just don't see a 235 pound guy who runs a 4.4 with great hands failing. Just imagine what would happen if Ronnie got that pitch left on 3rd and 1. That corner would have been demolished. :evil:

So then Ricky wasn't good at catching out of the backfield? I can remember many times where he would break big gains off screens. His blocking was never an issue as well. I mean people had to gameplan to stop ricky. Ricky was almost our whole offense.
Brown is a MUCH better receiver and blocker then Williams ever was or is

if your basing this on what they did in college then I'd have to say that Brown would still be drafted ahead of Williams if they were in the same draft. Yes, Williams had better numbers then Brown did in college but Brown simply has more tools. No way you can tell me that Ricky is a better blocker or receiver then Brown is. Cedric Benson who is a Ricky mold was drafted after Brown

I have to disagree. Williams looked like one of the best runningbacks in college history. Cedric Benson was good, but he was no Ricky.

Because you've seen Ronnie block in the NFL right? Sorry but I beg to differ. Ricky is a good receiver out of the backfield. I think that Ronnie is better, but not by much. Let's be real here. slightly and/or barely better is more appropriate.

did anybody ever say that Williams had better hands then possibly all of the WRs drafted in his draft? Well Brown has better hands then almost every WR drafted in his draft

I guess I'll quit because everyone seems to be against me on this one but ask yourself does Brown have more potential then Williams?

BROWN HASN'T DONE JACK CRAP IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
RICKY IS PROVEN IN THE NFL.

as of right now ricky is better. who knows if ronnie is better?

He's actually missed only 3 weeks, which is half of TC. If he can play against Pittsburgh, I would think/hope 3 games would be good enough.

talent <> NFL success

or

talent != NFL success

Talent <= NFL Success

Remember, many other variables determine ones NFL success. The O Line is the main contributing factor in a RB's success. Imagine we had KC's offensive line. If so, I think even Gordon can achieve a 1000+ season.

However, this debate will be settled at the end of this year. Ronnie and Ricky will have the same O line. Soooooooo, after 16 games, compare their ypc. Not even that is legit beacause of the position the short yardage back is placed in, but its a quick gauge that provides a decent comparison.

As of now, I believe Ricky is MUCH better than Brown, but I hope he proves me wrong.
