Rookies of the year

Crowder played weaksisde linebacker in 2003 his freshaman year and got all sec honors. He can play all 3 positions. he won't be out of position at mlb, wlb, slb , rilb, lilb.

Nope he just won't be given a shot at SLB is all. All offseason they have had him slotted behind Zach. I could see him ending up with some time at WLB in place of Seau at times. However I can't see him at SLB. This boy's being groomed to replace Junior or Zach one of these days and he'd be a beast in the middle of a 3-4.

for the Dolphins, Ronnie Brown and Channing Crowder will be the best rookies

for the NFL, Alex Smith and Thomas Davis

I don't know even for the dolphins. It's all about oppurtunity and I don't know if Crowder will get that much playing time his first year. Daniels has some good openings here and could be the starter opposite Madison opening day and could have the chance to make the biggest impact of all.

Even if it isn't Daniels, Roth plays at a position where he could have a large impact even in a part time role. He could ring up 5 sacks or so just as a part timer, and it would be hard to beat that on defense.

I agree that he will eventually end up replacing Zach or Seau but I don't see him on the sidelines unless he gets hurt. We should know by week three of preseason whether the coaching staff is going to have him playing with the first string
