Ross contacts Martin

Watching this thread turn into a Ross hate fest.
 
Damn I just got baited into clicking a link to a Shefter article...NOT COOL BRO! I'm kind of relieved though, when I saw Shefter's name there I thought Ross sent a hate message to J.Martin... Something like "I will kill you you fking *****!"


Sorry man, just posting the latest.

Only Ross knows what the coache's stories are and now he wants to see who is lying. Ross is no fool. He will methodically gather all the info and then make his move. He's just doing what any smart businessman would do in this situation. If I had to bet, some of the coaches and the GM have been involved in a cover up. And you would probably lose that bet. People like you have no problem passing judgement with limited facts and no problem libeling someone.
By all accounts Joe Philbin has always conducted himself very professionally throughout his long coaching career.
Its the simple minded people who often in engage in mob behavior and pile on prematurely.
 
Ross and Ireland should both be calling Martin and/or flying to California to see how he is doing. Guess we have an owner and GM that don't give a damn about Martin's well being.

Again, does anyone honestly believe that Cornwell and the parents are going to let ANYONE anywhere near Martin here?

Once they decided to play hardball, that door was closed.

Either that, or he's been dead for the past week and his parents are trying to figure out a way to reanimate his corpse to sue the dolphins with.

Ireland will be gone for sure then. Philbin gone if the action they took on Ritchie was not Goodell involved. Because if the Miami Dolphins knew about it, the league had to know about it.Thats why Philbin isnt answering any more questions further than they took action immediately. He is protecting important people here. Not himself.
 
and Martin is dug in. Dolphins know this now via the owner. Text mssg was probly the only way he got a response.
 
Expect the latest bomb from Martin's camp to be just before the game. Like the players need more of this crap before going into battle.

I hope it fires them up!

Nice try. When you say that I would "probably" lose the bet then you acknowledge there could be some accountability for the front office when it comes to this mess. Libel is a strong word, but I have never presented any of this as fact but as my opinion. This is an anonymous message board which allows people to express their opinions. You say coach Philbin has "always" conducted himself very professionally, but that is your opinion. Like the rest of us you are assuming some things that only a few insiders really know. I'm sticking to my opinion that our front office is scrambling to save their jobs and CYA, and the truth will definitely come out. I will also continue expressing myself regardless of people like you, who want to stifle independent thought and ideas.
You, and aparently coach Philbin, may not like disparate voices but great leaders are not threatened or intimidated by dissent. You apparently are.

Correct! Your sins will find you out. If the coaches or GM tried to intimidate Martin or sweep this under the rug heads will roll. Philbin is the leader and ultimately accountible for everything that happens on this team. If theres a cover up he will be gone.
 
Frankly, as others have posted, I'm sure mommy, daddy and Cornhole wouldn't let the big wuss talk on the phone. Ross probably reached out the only way he could in as personal a way he could.

Don't see how this is a bad thing for Ross.
