Ross is going to speak.....This should be good!

What else would you expect an owner to say?

...and after this...again spurned by a 'top' coach (whether he is or isn't in your mind he was considered in NFL circles a top candidate)?

He was considered the biggest name among coaches who were looking and didn't already have a job. At the top of a not very long list. Anybody who knows anything about football know Fisher's achomplishments are VERY medicore.

Nublar, I have never heard you utter even a single criticism against the Dolphins in all the years you have posted here. You must have a full supply of aqua & orange Kool-Aid in your kitchen cabinet...

The latest reports state that Ross thought that Fisher agreed with the organizational structure... He is clueless as to why Fisher chose Rams over Dolphins.
Then you don't really pay attention to my posts. I have, as recently as today, said this is a sad and disappointing day for the Dolphins. I just don't disect every little thing and pick something out and blow it out of proportion. Not surprised that you were the first one to do so though.

Fisher going to the Rams is a win in my opinion. Now we can get a hungry young coach who's track record doesn't define mediocrity

you mean anyone who checks espn.com for his win loss record through the years...cause anyone who knows football knows that jeff fisher is a very good coach...doesn't mean he's gonna turn the rams into instant contenders he's got a lot of work to do but he's a damn good well respected around the league coach

Being "sad and disappointed" isn't a criticism. I have been very patient with this franchise over the years. I have preached patience in regard to many coaches and players, including Sparano. But seeing the unending parade of public gaffes that Ross has made since taking over the team, I simply can't stay silent on his bungling nature.

When you read these threads you really begin to understand why the media behaves the way it does these days. I mean people lock on to every line of crap out there. I can't believe some of the things you guys will let yourselves actually read into that are so off base. I can say that there is a good chance that Ross would have taken Fisher under what Ross laid out as his position of head coach. But I really think that Fisher wanted more than we were gonna give him. So he went elsewhere. Ross did not miss his man. If Fisher was a must have Ross would have met all demands. If you are to blame this on Ireland than you are way off there too. Fisher is an average coach us time may have passed. I consider us lucky. Ross is looking for somebody that embodies a great coach and also fits into the mold of the organization. I am glad that he has the ability to stand by that because a coach GM is noway to run a franchise.

?? Please enlighten me on how you define a good coach. I look at results. Fisher has 6 winning seasons out of 17. Fisher has 5 playoff win in 17 seasons. Fisher finished first in his division 3 out of 17 seasons. Well respected?? Who gives a crap. I want a guy who wins, respect is secondary. Fisher is medicore, plain and simple. Bring on a hungry OC who's desire and drive will take the Dolphins farther than Fisher has ever gone.

There is no need to speak because Fisher decided on another team. Odds are Ross will just lie anyway!

The problem is he is going to speak. This dufus just can't figure this out...SHUT UP!

I'm actually very interested in what he has to say. Instead of listening to the other media jagoffs spin their way out of a paper bag, let's hear what the man involved with the coaching search has to say.

He's very good....he's only had 6 winning seasons out of 16....he's mediocre.......what the hell is it going to be?
