Ross is NFL's 3rd richest owner

A little update on where Ross ranks amongst his fellow NFL owners. Obvioulsy Paul Allen(Seahawks) is the richest and his worth is $15.9 billion. Stan Kroenke(Rams) is second with $5.6 billion and Ross is third at $5.4 billion.

For comparison sakes, Woody Johnson(Jets) is 5th at $3.5 billion Jerry Jones(Cowboys) is 7th at $3 billion, Robert Kraft(Patriots) is 8th at $2.9 billion and Ralph Wilson(Bills) is 30th at $870 million. Jerry Richardson(Panthers) has the least at $500 million.

Keep this in mind with the news that Ross is footing the bill on the proposed $400 million renovation. The Renovation is almost as much as Richardson's entire wealth. Let's just be happy that we have an owner that can afford to pay his players big money and put large amounts of money into the stadium.

I'm willing to bet 90% of professional sports owners known nothing about the respective sport apart from the average fan.

At the end of the day its a business. Ross isin't calling the plays or scouting talent.

I don't understand how this article can put Jerry Richardson at a net worth of $500 million, when he is the sole owner of an NFL franchise worth over $1 billion. I dont think you could be worth less than the sum of your assets.

In all fairness Jerry Richardsons team would spank the crap out of all those others listed (except Seattle)(and before Panthers lost all their receivers). So he has bragging rights somewhere.
