That makes no sense I know you're a tannehill supporter but weeden is clearly better then Tann but because of his age that will be his biggest flaw but that would mean tannehill is no better then Moore so why draft a dude who won't start and can't beat moore. All tann has going for him is pocket awareness but if you think he's better then weeden then your crazy.
I want nothing to do with Weeden, I can't see him being any better than Moore.
Don't **** this up Ireland, just take Megatron junior AKA Justin Blackmon... Just throw it up!
We do not need a Al Davis or Jerry Jones in Miami and regardless of what the press says and some fans there will be a lot of pressure to play him this year and next and according to everything I have heard Tannhill is 2 years away from playing which means if he cannot produce by next year as a decent starter Ireland is gone. He may be gone anyway but that will definitly be the case. Sherman better know his stuff if we draft Tannehill and if we do not with Sherman as the OC and his career on the line then it is pretty much the right move. Parcells has Tannehill ranked the 3rd best Qb and has him to be taken at the end of the 1st round and Parcells has Oswielller as the next best QB after Tannehill tken early 2nd followed by Cousin in the 2nd later and Weeden in the 4th I believe. Personally at this posint I hope Cleveland takes Tannhill at this point so we are not force into the move and listen to all the know it all puntiffs who say we blew it. Remember Cleveland drafting that QB Brady Quinn we passed for Ginn. While the Ginn pick was way to high for the kid in the long run it was much better than the Cleveland QB pick. That pick cost that coach his job along with the GM. You pick a QB in the first round as a GM you live and die by that sword. I am not sold on Oswieller either. I want winners maybe Weeden maybe the kid Ryan Lindley.
Yeah, Weeden only beat Luck, RG3, Landry Jones, Nick Foles and Tannehill; he just might well have been a top 5 pick if not for his age.
However, if anything, Tannehill based on the media hype job, his limited, and not all that successful body of work is sending off Sanchez kind of vibes where overreaching for him as a top10 pick might end up being a huge mistake. I suppose the one difference if we ended up selecting him @8 (heaven forbid anything earlier than that!) would be that HIS coach presumably thought he was ready for the next level. :idk:
Well he also lost to the great Josh Barnett freshman qb for Iowa St but that probably doesnt help your arguement
Sorry, for someone who just made an argument that a guy who's still scoring game influencing TDs relatively speaking was not a better pick than your beloved overhyped always failing Brady Quinn, the juxtaposition of this ad hominem rebuttal doesn't really resonate very credibly.
