Rotoword Free Agents Remaining as of 3/20/14

Keep in mind will still have ......Will Yeatman (RFA), OT, Dolphins. Age: 26.

not many to choose OTs to choose from
Ryan Harris , Eric Winston or resign Tyson Clabo

Davin Joseph, G, Buccaneers. Age: 30 or Daryn Colledge, G, Cardinals. Age: 32.

RB sign Knowshon Moreno, RB, Broncos. Age: 27

I think we will look in the draft RD 1 Zack Martin, OT, or David Yankey, G/OT or Eric Ebron, TE
RD 2 Carlos Hyde, RB, Bishop Sankey, RB or Tre Mason RB
RD 3 Gabe Jackson G , Ahmad Dixon, S, Cyrus Kouandjio, OT

Yeatman is gone-

The Dolphins did not tender offers to restricted free agents OT Will Yeatman and CB R.J. Stanford, making them free agents.

A player who they hung on and hung on to and then bye. Thought they liked him and that is why he was kept around for so long, guess he never progressed enough.

Yeatman was injured, although they can bring him back.

For RT options we have Dallas Thomas, Nate Garner, Jason Weaver, Michael Ola, Clabo and McKinnie, and anyone on that FA list.

None on that list above inspire me as a starter. Well I will give Thomas a chance seen enough of Garner to not want him to start, backup and fill in fine but that is it IMO. I knew about the Yeatman injury but still thought they would tender considering the time they had invested in him.

I would sign Wharton to a one or 2 year stop gap...why not dude was good

good grief the rb money in free agency was cheap this year...ben tate 2 years $7 mil...shocked it was that low...absolutely no money in the rb market

It's not often that I agree with you WV, but in this case I do. Maybe we overpaid by $12M. The thing that gets me is that we paid the most and got the oldest and most injury prone of 4 guys, none of whom went to destination teams or cities. We chose to way overpay someone who literally lived in our city. Bit of a head scratcher. Oh well, if he stays healthy it will still be a positive move, even if we coulda/woulda/shoulda had Monroe or Veldheer for cheaper.
Our biggest problem last season was the O-line protecting Tannehill. Albert is a top 10 Left OT and his speciality is pass protection. We had to pay top $ to get the best available. You think that we overpaid. I would argue that we squandered a great opportunity last season because Ireland tried to get by on the cheap with J-mart and it was ultimately very costly. To get the best available you have to spend.

Yes ....... I forgot about Dallas Thomas and Nate Garner . With the draft and players that will be getting dropped , we will be fine . I really think we are in good shape we have alot of talent on this team. This years draft is a must hit on all rds.

Very true makes you wonder what kind of numbers Moreno is looking to get.

What's Jason Fox's health situation? He's still young at 25 and should come cheap. He had played well in the preseason last year for Detriot and won the starting RT job only to go down in the first game of the year. He did play in about half the Lion's games starting three. I think he'd be worth a look as a fallback option/depth, if he has any chance of staying injury free. At least in college he was athletic as an OT, and should be a scheme fit.

sure the hell beats keeping clabo. just that thought makes me shutter.
