The guy was solid in the 2nd half once he started feeling more comfortable in Miami's system, and because we will probably be drafting his replacement, it might be good idea to have a player you can rely on to start until the rookie is ready.
I agree with Daytona, it should be at minimum though, or very very close to it.

Most recognize the Pat's Vollmer as one of the best RT's in the NFL. Last year, he only played 8 games, giving up 2 sacks, 1 hit and 13 hurries for Brady. He graded out at 10.5 in pass blocking, and 0.4 on the run.
In Clabo's last 9 games, he gave up 3sacks, 4 hits, and 12 hurries with Tannehill. He graded out at 11.6 in pass blocking, and 11.2 on the run.
Is Vollmer also only worth the minimum as a back up? LOL

I hope he doesn't want to come back. He was so bad he was sent to the bench last year. He only go his starting job back due to Martin walking out. If he wants to take vet minimum let him compete but he is not worth starters money.
Overall he was bad last year no need to bring him back at 32 and regressing. Him and Mckinnie add very little by keeping them

Did I miss something where Volmer ever played among the worst of the tackles in football as Clabo played for a damn good portion of last year. Did Volmer get benched for bad play?

100% take him back. He watson a new team, took on board he was playing poor and ended up one if the top rated RT in NFL. He would come cheaper because of piss poor first half of year so in essence, his poor first half would be a benefit to the Fins financially this year.
