Just when im starting to warm up to being a fan of Reggie Bush .... Iv been reading and hearing rumors that no matter how good or bad he plays this season he will more than likely be gone next season............??? Can someone please explain this ? What if he comes out and crushes it like the last 6 7 games last year.....why just let him go after this season???
 
I think Miller was drafted as his replacement. The only way I could see Bush staying is if they were going to use them both on the field at the same time. And I think they would wanted use that spot for another back or a wr.
 
I hope Bush sticks around, i would love to see him and Miller on the field at the same time. give either of them the ball in space and let them work.
 
Yeah why wouldn't you get rid of one of your only bright spots on offense?

This isn't a rumor. It's baseless speculation. Where did you "hear" this?

It all depends on how much Reggie wants & what we think he can produce .... plain & simple ... which all depends on how Reggie's season goes. As others stated alot depends on our other RBs.

Then all that depends on do we put all that value into Reggie on an ave. team ... or spread it around trying to improve the team.

Waaaaay to many variables to even be able to logically consider the future ... let alone worry about.
 
It depends on so many things, like JerryD said.

Does Daniel Thomas make an impact?

Can Reggie stay healthy or have the same impact?

What will Lamar Miller's impact be?
 
Yeah, I hope they decide to hang on to him as long as he keeps producing and can stay healthy..Like to see some more sliding TD runs!!
 
If we can get Jake Long singed, we could use the franchise tag on Bush, which isnt very expensive for a RB. I expect Bush to sign on his own free will though. He likes south beach too much.
 
What ever. He's a good guy, and has done well but i'm not going out and buying a jersey. I think we all knew he wasn't going to spend like 5 season here or anything.
 
Well, it's a number of things.

If Reggie performs just as good as last year he will call for a big contract, and Miller was drafted to replace him.

I think it all depends on how our other 2 RB's perform. Jury is still out on D. Thomas and it seems Miller and Reggie fit the WCO scheme better.

If anything I see D. Thomas getting traded and keeping Reggie and Miller.

Then again, I personally wouldn't get rid of any. Reggie and Miller provide great pass catching RB's and Reggie's versatility makes him gold in the WCO. Thomas is the power back we need (hopefully he steps it up), unless Massam impresses.
 
If Reggie has the same type of year he had last year, give him the contract...
