Rumor-Dolphins want to trade for Orton-NFL.Com

I was contending all along that 90% of all fans responding to both a major Broncos Forum and the Denver Post forum wanting Orton gone were no less correct than the 80% or so of Fins fans calling for Henne's head. However, this wasn't a popular reality with those who agreed with the Henne consensus but delusionally thought they knew more from 2000 miles away than their Denver counterparts who've watched every snap.

So please don't herd me into that group of myopians.

What the he'll yes make the Fkn trade he is better than any other QB on the roster!! What the he'll do you wannabe Gms and owners care about how much he will cost against the cap??? Releae one of the other losers on the team that suck! I want to win games or at least be fun to watch Moore and Sage are Fkn garbage and all of you know it!! We at least know Kyle can sling it if he has weapons!

geez.. I'd take my chances with Rosenfels.

If Ireland makes this deal, he'll be singing his own pink slip come seasons end.

Trying to win with LOSERS, and players fans DON"T want to see.

Yea.. ****ing good job Ireland!

****en retards!!!! **** nooooooooooooooooo!!! This ****en dude ireland and sapranooo need to gooooooooooooooo!!!!

I am not for this by any stretch, but we have to consider the possibility that we don't land our franchise QB in the draft. Let's assume we win 6-8 "meaningless" games that the S4L guys are dreading. It's possible all the top QB's will be gone. Then we will be stuck in a situation where Henne may or may not leave via free agency, Matt Moore is our starter and who knows if we could land a free agent QB (highly dependent on what front office changes are made).

I am just saying anything can happen and it may not be such a bad thing to have the guy on the roster if the price is right. He is certainly not the long term answer though.

Please, please, please Mr. Ross...don't let them trade away our future for a piece of garbage like Orton. It was very questionable whether he was worth a trade before the season when he would have a full offseason and much less bagage. I would rather put Reggie in the Wildcat every play for 12 weeks than to give a 7th round pick and a bag of oranges for Orton at this point. Orton had his chance in Denver...and SUCKED! Why would we rush to give value for someone else's trash. Fox is a good coach and couldn't win with Orton, what depths of horrific play can he reach here with these morons?

I'm one of those who wants to win... and I don't want a chronic choker like Mr. "3 and out Orton"

We cant even be ranked #1 at sucking. WTF!!!

funny how quickly things change around here...i had to beat people off with a stick before the season started yapping about how if we get kyle orton this teams a 10 win lock playoff contender yada yada yada...had one particular admin here tell me i was the fool if i couldn't see it even...

8 or so weeks later who's the damn fool...not this guy

How many pictures do you have of yourself do you have framed? :d-day:

I would be shocked, at this point, if we won 4 games much less 6-8 regardless of who is QB. I am interested in seeing how Moore looks as the starter against the Jets and can't help having some glimmer of hope that we can turn this around. However, the chances are nearly zero that we could reach the playoffs at this point; we are not mathmatically eliminated but it would absolutely require a miracle. Also, many of the teams that I counted as wins before the season are playing very good football and we are definitely not.

So far as Orton goes, it makes absolutely no sense to me to spend anything to bring in someone who we know is not the answer, who may screw up our chances of getting someone that may very well be the answer, and who will cost additional draft picks and money against the cap just so that we can maybe reach the bottom end of mediocre for one season. I am more than willing to endure another horrible season if we can put together a winning formula for the future. If we reach 6-8 wins with what we have or can sign off the street, great. We will choose the BPA or hopefully, trade up to get a potential franchise QB. However, if we have to pay any type of draft pick or utilize any future cap space for a stop-gap then I absolutely say NO!

I can see Dolphin faithful booing Orton and chanting "We want Henne!"

I would jump off a bridge. This would be the worst move in Dolphins history!
