Rumor-Dolphins want to trade for Orton-NFL.Com

This came after the game sunday when Orton got benched for Tebow..1of the guys from espn originally said this crap about Miami being a possible suitor for Orton.(Clayton i think cant remember who exactly)

Trust me on this that theres no ****ing way this deal gets done.

With that said, I would no longer be in favor of getting Orton. It has nothing to do with Orton or Henne's play this season. Rather, at this point, why bother? Dolphins are NOT going anywhere this year, especially with Matt Moore or Sage as our QB. Defense has regressed, with a number of players on both sides of the ball not being used properly. At this point, while I want to see this team play competitvely week to week, our best bet is getting solid draft position and taking a bonafide signal caller with a high 1st round pick next April.

I was all about this in July too. I was wrong. There's only one option now, lose out.
 
Adam Schefter already reported this will not be done yet this thread goes on and on.

This works out well for me.

I like Matt Moore. I was not a Chad Henne fan, but was willing to give him another chance if for no other reason we spent a 2nd on him.

I like Tim Tebow. I am not a real fan of Orton but I would have taken him if he came free.

So now Matt Moore starts for us, Tim Tebow starts and we do not trade for Orton.

Win-Win-Win

Watching Orton at work is totally worth missing out on Luck and Barkley and rolling the dice on an inferior prospect, or drafting another tackle.
 
winning games is really not what i'm interested in right now.

we are last in our division by a long shot, no chance at a wild card... no playoffs. there is one goal now this year, get the #1 pick.
