Sorry but no link here, was reading on some message board or something how A.J. would be a good fit in Detroit and the Fins could be willing to trade him. Don't know if it would ever happen, but i'd give him up for a 5th or 6th rounder. Could be Saban's reason to bring Rohan on board too.

if detroit wants a backup QB, why dont they take Rohan?

and if Rohan was so good, why was he cut in preseason?

i can see why some would think about this roomer. aj is 3rd on the depth chart, and detroit needs a backup QB, maybe a replacement QB... but i dont see the fins trading aj for anything less than a 3rd. and IF the lions wanted a trade they would offer no more than a 6th.

How could anyone be interested after such a pathetic preseason and awful season last year. This guy simply shows no ability to ever become an effective quarterback. He just does not have what it takes.

arguing with yourself again???
i just like to be the first one to ask the questions. :D

EDIT: but ill also add,

I liked him in college, and think he will be a good QB. :)
and im glad hes not a Pat anymore. :D

AJ undisputedly has decent physical tools and abilities. Perhaps the 'potential' he possesses would be enough to lure another desperate team to trade for him. If that is the case (which I highly doubt) I would expect Saban to be willing to take just about any draft pick for him. :shakeno:

Are you serious the dolphins would trade AJ for a slice of cheese pizza right now. Cheese not pepperoni

i dont think aj will be here next year so y not take what we can get for him his salary next year is kinda big and we could use all the extra picks we can get

i agree...i don't see any reason why anyone would go after A.J., but honestly, there is no way the fins would get anything more than a 5th for him, we are talking about a 3rd string qb...
i think they know that too..and Rohan was cut because the kid from USC straight up outplayed him, but Rohan has wayyyyyyyy more upside than A.J. imo

Personally, I think it would be completely irrational of us to ask for a 3rd for Feeley. The guy isn't even worth a 7th right now. I have no idea why any team would want to trade for him. He's garbage.

Heh....I would take a 4th and run for the hills with that one....I think you're overestimating Saban's love for the guy.

lol, how many games did he play last season? do you really think, after a VERY high 2nd round pick invested in this guy, they would just let him go for pennies?

no. i think AJ will come in after gusn looses a few. play better than gus, only slightly, and become the starter again. or, be named starter next season, (depending on next years draft and FA/trade in the offseason). why would you simply get rid of him? at the worst, you have a backup QB.

EDIT: i type to slow...

but am i seriously the only person here, that thinks the team will not trade aj for anything less than a 3rd rounder? you got to be kidding. i must be going out of my mind... :goof:
