Russell Wilson could have been a Miami Dolphin

The guy is playing in his 2nd straight super bowl and within inches of winning it. He has a ridiculous winning % as a quarterback at all levels but you're right he's just lost out there. He should come on here and consult you before his next super bowl run

Don't bite off more than you can chew...I called it exactly like it was...he screwed up...it happens...but that pick is about lack of eye discipline...just cause you can't figure or don't understand it doesn't mean a thing

dude, Wilson had plenty of time but the play was designed for him to throw a quick slant pass and the defender made an excellent play on the ball. Let's not split hairs on this; it was a terrible play call with a questionable throw. This shouldn't define the game that Wilson had, which I think was, overall, very good, but unfortunately that play will plague Wilson for some time to come.

Nope you are wrong...a quick slant doesn't mean rise and fire in that short a field

Just stop! It was a split second throw. No time to stare down and you have 16 weeks of stretching the truth when Tannehill makes a similar play.

I bet "the tape" would show 6 positive plays to 15 negative plays for Wilson. Simply change the number on his jersey to 17 and you get 20 positive plays to 1 negative play.

I get not running Lynch on that play, but if you are going to throw that pass best play call is roll Wilson out. They didn't they lost!

but.... it kind of does. Look, we're still splitting hairs here. Was it a bad throw? that can be argued. Was it a horrendous play call? That CANNOT be argued.

Staring receivers down isn't exactly sports science John Brinkley. You must be so annoying to watch a game with lol

Put Tannehill on the Seahawks they aren't in the Super Bowl. Hell Tannehill can't even beat the Jets down the stretch!

The reason he jumps that is cause he's facing the play and the qb stares it freaking down...that's why

There is no eye discipline there at all...
I watched it again, hoops - there's no QB in the world who would throw that route any different than what Wilson did. Lockette is split way out right, Wilson doesn't look at him then. Then snap back to the QB in the shotgun, Lockette takes off running inside and Wilson throws it to him but the DB jumps the route. The time between Wilson receiving the shotgun and his release is less than a second. There's no time to look off the DB, only enough time to see Lockette is running the route and let it go.

Maybe he could've audibled out of it, but once that snap went off, I don't see how he could've done anything different.
